It's time to cut bait with Sean Lee

The strength of the team going forward could be the LB core with Lee, Ro, and Hitchens. I can't wait to see that trio play together with an improved pass rush that Hardy and Gregory should provide. So ... no.

I'll be honest. After McClain was suspended, I only gave it a 50% chance that he and Lee would ever see the field together.

Me too, I'm still not 100% positive it's going to happen. I've been praying for it though ever since watching Ro last year. Their games are a perfect compliment to each other. It could be something special.

I have a question. Would you rather go into a fight with someone who you know is gonna have your back when it gets rough, or with someone you know might not be there when you need him most. I love Lee, but you can't count on him whatsoever.

Lost both of the last two games because offenses made hay while he was out. I'd consider that a strong argument in favor of keeping them. Luckily his more enigmatic twin is about to be there to pick up the slack.

He's great when he can actually get on the field, but I think overall, he he is at best a net neutral part of this team. He is taking away snaps and development from someone else. Obviously, he isn't going anywhere this year, but I say we relegate him to backup and spot duty, and try to find his replacement in the draft.

I will never get the brain cells back that I lost reading this post

I'm with you. Let's toss that Romo guy while we're at it, and Bryant, too.

In fact, let's only keep Witten since he's the only one who can't be stopped by injury.

But he is blocking the progress of other lesser guys by completely outplaying them........it isn't fair......I want a LB that never ever gets hurt

No reason to cut bait now, he signed a new contract. Just use him until he gets injured.....rinse and repeat. It is a concussion, not a torn ACL!

Everybody appreciated him in that game but we also knew it was only a matter of time before he was hurt again. He could come back again next week but we all know he'll be out again soon. It's just a matter of time. It's just what it is. We except it.

And if that freaking wuss was willing to be a two way player and play QB like Payton Manning we would be 4 - 0 right now. Candyazzed Slacker.

Alarming to hear this type off talk. I can undertand loyalty and hidden talent but this guy is a undependale high paid no show/inconsistent player. Guys like him at middle are a dime a dozen.

I have to go they are showing "Cops'"

Guys who are repeat player-of-the-week and player-of-the-mont hare "dime a dozen." You have no credibility in this discussion.

I also think it's somewhat a product of the system. Small, quick DL leave the LBs to consistently go up against guys with a 60 pound weight advantage. You can only run into a brick wall so many times before you're the one getting hit.

It's not like I have total faith in Lee ever being healthy for an entire season, but this is a "look at me, I want attention" thread if there ever was one.
