It's not like I have total faith in Lee ever being healthy for an entire season, but this is a "look at me, I want attention" thread if there ever was one.

Right on. I don't understand how cutting Lee and not having him for 16 games is better than having him for 8 or 9 games.

He is the best player on the D when healthy so I would rather get some of that instead of none of it.

If you look at every team LBers get hurt. SF lost Willis, Borland, Bowman recently. Lukely has a concussion for CAR. It happens to everyone.

You never give up on a player of Lee's caliber. You just have quality depth at that position. You ultimately are banking on Lee missing some games, but being available late in the year when it matters.

Haven't we paid him most of his guaranteed money already? If so, it's not like we are taking much of a cap hit anymore with keeping him around, even if we can only get half a season of work out of him.

He's great when he can actually get on the field, but I think overall, he he is at best a net neutral part of this team. He is taking away snaps and development from someone else. Obviously, he isn't going anywhere this year, but I say we relegate him to backup and spot duty, and try to find his replacement in the draft.

Sorry for being so blunt but this is the stupidest post I've ever seen here.

I almost posted this exact same thread last week...before this latest concussion. You just had to know it was a matter of time before something else was gonna happen. I mean seriously....the guy pulled himself last week because he got a fat lip.

Really????? A LBer getting a fat lip......

Next thing you know Lee is gonna pull himself from a game because he got his beard caught between someones helmet

What was that old say...You can't make the club in the tub?

Sean Lee has missed the seasons worth of time since he's been in the NFL. He's a really good player, but you can't trust him as far as you can throw him. Durability is part of being a good player and that's something Sean Lee has proven time and time again he doesn't posses. You don't have to cut him, but this insistence that he is one of our front line players needs to end.

Lee is arguably the best linebacker in football when healthy. Concussions can happen to anyone. Everyone should be happy it's just a concussion and nothing more severe.

One side benefit of losing a tough game............... the insane, yet hilarious, threads that pop up the week following the loss.

It's clear the Cowboys have made moves to replace Lee, in case of injury, in signing guys like Gachkar and drafting Wilson and Hitchens.
However, it's foolish to say we should move on from a guy who is still a great player, due to bad luck injuries.
This isn't Miles Austin or Newman with the same injury over and over. Those injuries he sustained could happen to anyone at any time.
