I can play that kind of music, flamenco, played it for about 12 years. But not many really know the history or soul searching and the timing of their music from Spain. Here in at home I cannot attract an audience.

I went to music school for four years after service. I have been playing guitar and music as much as I can.

I have a blues band called "The Bad Influence Garage Band". I posted one of my original tune here and the Reality got mad at me and told me to never ever post one of my tunes on any forum or I will be banned for life.

Where words fail, music speaks.
Thanks for sharing, my friend. That classical Flamingo on a banjo, would be a great thing in a Country Western band.

Blues band...the start of today's music back when...

Camp is only 6 weeks away and then we're at least getting some actual football news.
Oh, it's that time of year. People get antsy. Impatient. The summer heat. People get snippy and personal attacks increase. Admins are busy busyness busy.

Then camp starts. Things calm down.

Every year. Same thing.

Dallas is pretty loaded on defense and could definitely field a top-five unit. The Cowboys addressed a need at defensive tackle with first-round pick Mazi Smith. When you factor in the pass-rushing duo of Micah Parsons and Demarcus Lawrence, and some good depth outside, the 'Boys boast a deep, talented front. Linebacker and the secondary also are well stocked. Depending on preseason injuries, there could be some tough cuts in the back seven. The addition of Stephon Gilmore at corner, along with the late-season emergence of linebacker Damone Clark and defensive back DaRon Bland, make this unit deep and dangerous.

On offense, however, there are at least depth concerns at almost every spot. Dak Prescott is coming off a challenging season, and the Cowboys probably can’t afford him missing another five-game chunk in 2023. Cooper Rush ably replaced Prescott and is back, but is he truly a top-tier backup? That’s about all they have at QB. The depth is better at receiver following the trade for Brandin Cooks, who should diversify the offense. But Dallas really could use Michael Gallup, Jalen Tolbert or someone else stepping up. Running back took a hit with Ezekiel Elliott’s release, which looms larger with Tony Pollard coming off a broken leg and high ankle sprain. Perhaps rookie Deuce Vaughn can carve out a role, but it feels like there’s a void here.

Tight end is in solid shape with the addition of second-rounder Luke Schoonmaker, but the offensive line remains partially unsolved. There might be some shuffling among last year’s starters, and the depth appears so-so right now. Dallas also needs to find a kicker. But all in all, this is one of the best NFL rosters from top to bottom.

Well what's stopping you beyond making every one do all the work when all you do is present a doubt....yea right. Now tell us all before one attempts to strut like a peafowl. The dump truck already delivered the load of carp to the yard outside.

Include all the teams in the playoffs for the past 10 years so that you present, SOMETHING of value...Prep or is it instead Homie?

I wouldn't allow you to teach my child in school or a job level...with that analysis.
Afraid of the truth? You are exactly the type of Dak worshipper I was talking about. It will get this team nowhere just like Dak will get us nowhere just like Romo before Dak got us nowhere. How much of this nonsense of going nowhere do you need to see to stop worshipping at the Altar of Prescott?

Far from it, no dose, I'm not afraid of anything that you can dream up...much less non-existent football insights.

Let's go, King...

Which sets up a couple of interesting, and history-making, matchup possibilities. A Dallas-Jacksonville or Dallas-Denver Super Bowl in February would ensure the first head coach to win Super Bowls with two different teams.

A Cowboys' Super Bowl win would end a nearly three-decade championship drought in Dallas as well as set McCarthy above all others.

Jerry Jones would love to see that. McCarthy would love to see that. And so would all the Cowboys' players and fans. Stephen A Smith? Not so much.

You remind me of the ostrich that hides its head in the sand rather than facing the truth. The entire civilized world knows what I say about Dak is true but you in your delicate suspension of reality, think as long as you deny it, it isn't really there. :muttley:

I read that, and it is a flimsy record to achieve. It depends on coach having longevity, and luck, in that what type of 2nd team do they inherit?
If mike had been hired by chicago his chances would be much lower imo.
Mike surely has a shot though.

The other problem is competition.

Going to be hard for jags to get by KC or buffalo Cin, and dallas to get by phil or SF.
Then once they get TO SB they have to win it.

No way payton makes it in year 1 with denver, Jags did look good last season, can they be as good again?
And Dallas , is a unknown, hard to know what they actually do.

Well there one goes...Ace *(five confirmed kills) this work must not be part of the civilized world. Maybe this poster would be better in a snipe hunt just walking around or sitting with nothing to do.

but then again we complain why Dak isn't elite. now we want to replace him with just another good QB. what gives? Purdy is not elite. Hurts is not Elite. they are just in the right team, with the right surronding, righ system, right owners. instead we are stuck with Jethro and his idiot son.
Dak's had 6/7 years and hasnt improved in any meaningful way (good Defenses have identified his weaknesses, he's not clutch "55 Rating >2 min remaining"....he's never managed to put up two consecutive play-off victories and because of the outstanding CAP restructures adds $60m+ to any contract it's going to restrict the roster, not the elite, but we'll end up replacing good players with JAGS.

Purdy and Hurts arent elite, however their low CAP hits allows for money to be spent on the roster.

I suppose youre saying that if Dak had..... Right Team, Right Surroundings, Right System, Right Owners....then he's succeed, which is EXACTLY the issue, he need's everything around him to work, as soon as it doesnt he leadership/management isnt able to step up and lead the team.

that's what you hope to happen. right? that's what you want, because you rather be right, than wrong with Dak at the helm. tell us the truth.
Believe it or not when the game comes on I cheer for EVERYONE on the Cowboys including Dak. I would love to see this team win a SB and if Dak is the QB that's fine with me. But I've seen enough of Dak to know that his talent is limited. Every human has a pressure point where they begin to choke and make mistakes. Dak is a great front runner but he just can't deal with pressure well at all. When you combine mechanics that need a lot tuning all the time with the pressure it's a bad combination.

If we add in the OTA improvements to Jabril and Jalen then we are looking good. The RB situation has improved through more variety and an evident run blocking scheme that's based on zone and mobility.

We appear to have the weapons and looked at roster contingencies to help overcome (eg Pollard going down). As this is a Dak thread isnt this the year to judge whether he has the abilities to take this team over the hump.... my judgement level is still his ability to score a TD in 2 minute offense when trailing (in play-offs), even if he loses, just shown me he can do it.

Spot on. I keep mentioning this 55 Rating when >2min and trailing, nobody from the BlameEveryoneButDak fans have even accepted that he struggles. Like yourself I cheer on Dak, but ignoring his weaknesses just means that we continue to to make the same mistakes....eg 49ers 1 AND 2......Dak Fans point to Game1 - PENALTIES/POOR RUN DEFENSE, Game2 - Pollard Injury.....but conveniently overlook that DESPITE these set backs Dak had the ball FOUR times to win/tie both games.
