Probably because Rodgers held his teammates accountable…no one in Dallas is holding anyone accountable…
It's hard to hold anyone accountable when you throw a pick 6
It's hard to hold anyone accountable when you as the coach can't even have the final word on a lockeroom speech.
It's hard to hold anyone accountable when you as the GM won't hold yourself accountable when you make a mistake.

The Coach and GM position generally act as Mom and Dad - the only way it's effective is if both are on the same page and the kids don't feel like they can simply go to the other parent when one parent says no. That is in essence what you don't have in Dallas.

Honestly this makes me want to get rid of Mike more. They don't want the change but they probably feel like they won't be as comfortable as they are now. "Yea we lost but He let's me take a break so i can go text on my phone so please keep him"

Give me a break

Jane's showing her diversity hire ignorance. She thinks this is schooling the fans. Football fans know better. No one gives a crap what the players think. No one cares about their family days or stop to text a loved one weak nonsense. You think Bill Parcells stopped practice so Gary Reasons could call his Aunt and thank her for everything? What the heck are we doing here? Do we still have a pair?

Players often don't know what's good for them. They want what is easiest. Our three HOF head coaches didn't care about your families or your feelings when you showed up to work. They didn't try to be your friend. You were there to do a job and if you can't do it we'll find someone who can. I'm your coach not your buddy.

Results on the field are all that matters. If the players like Mike McCarthy so much they should have showed it on the field Sunday. They didn't. No more input needed from them or from her, for that matter.

That aside, I wish her lips had an OnlyFans.
Come on man, Jane is just reporting here, she’s a good gal. You’re Parcells Gary Reasons analogy had me cracking up! I mean could you just freaking imagine?? Good stuff…

"Concern that Dak Panics when 1st read isn't there."

Don't overlook that little nugget at the end.

If this is being said in the locker room by (I would assume) more than 1 player, it's an issue and calls into question this fable we are told that this locker room is 100% sold on Dak and in his corner.

Maybe this was the reason for the look on Cee Dee's face yesterday?
Yeah, talk about burying the lead.

The culture is much more worse than I thought. Yeah we have to make a HC change. Yall have had 3 opportunities to show how much you "care" about this coach. What about the fans that watch this crap every year. Blow it up.

We shouldn't take this lightly. Jane telling us what the players think matters to Jerry is significant.

This franchise might not be good at winning when it counts, but they play the public relations game as well as anyone.

Usually before Jerry does something unpopular, they try to condition the fans to expect it through controlled info releases to team friendly insiders. This way there's less backlash because we the fans had enough breadcrumbs to know it was coming and get comfortable with the idea. The same technique was used before the Amari Cooper trade.

Let's be very clear about what this is.This is Jerry's way of telling us Big Mike is coming back.

There is no way veteran professional players don't understand when a guy isn't really playing to the level expected. Just to know it isn't enough but when it starts being said ..... something is going to happen.

I mean, I would too if I could suck at my job and not be held accountable.

That's why they defend him so much.
That's what the corporate culture is all about. Defending against and deflecting accountability.

Circle the wagons when things go South.

It's the brand and people's jobs that is most important anyways. Not winning playoff games.

Every decision everyone in Dallas makes is about what is best for the brand and their stake in it. Players. Coaches. Front office. Owners. Everybody.

That is entirely clear in Dallas.

Very true. In a couple of weeks, outside of us, no one will care.

I hope so. It's long overdue.
