Get used to those names because that's what happening next year. Allen is not going to sign in Dallas unless he get's DWare money and DWare
guarantees. When you are a mediocre team sliding into the sewer, you take the leavings of other teams if you are willing to overpay. No one wants to come to play in Dallas based on our outlook to be in the playoffs. We, at this point, are Blue Light Walmart shoppers.

There is a reason some posters have 700 posts and 4 likes. :D Sounds like you hate your own team. For me I like very much the changes so far this offseason.

You mean like Denver signing Ware wanting our castoffs? lol Or Washington taking Hatcher? I know some like to think the cap is meaningless but fact is those teams who are well under the cap can pay out more money than a team who is above the cap and only way to get under it was by releasing players with big contracts. This notion no one wants to play for the Cowboys? LOL yeah right. Players play for money and no one is giving sweetheart deals taking less money. They play for those who are willing to pay. Allen is wanting 3 years at 30 mill be it the Cowboys or any other team looking to sign him.

Yep! Wishing & Hoping springs eternal on this board. I'm seeing the future and it looks eerily like the past. Same mistakes
and waste. Until Management turns on the lightbulb, blows it up and sweeps up the floor...there will be no good times
again in Dallas. We appear more and more like the Oakland Raiders don't we.

Hey! be happy, keep hoping, keep wishing...

I understand why Denver would overpay for DWare, they are close, very close to S.B. glory. Why pay for over 30 players if your team is
likely to go 5-11 for the next 3 years. Oh, Washington always overpays but it never seems to do them any good.

The only player that worked out for us in Free Agency was Leroy Glover who made pro bowls while he was with us. Not many others
you would want to write home about in these many years right?

Players play for money, Denver well under the cap could fork over the cash we can't. Cap does matter, does not mean we can't pick up players but it does mean we will not be in bidding wars with others to seek high priced FA. The notion no one wants to play for the Cowboys is laughable, players want the money if Dallas can't pay it someone else will and that is the team who will get that FA. It is not complicated it is all about the dollars since this is their livelihood. There are many players who grew up as Cowboy fans and all things equal would love to play in Dallas but it is about the money.
Glover was the only one? I seem to recall Deion Sanders who made Pro Bowls and HOF. lol

Jared Allen dinner on Monday was Garrett-led. Second day now. Jones family involved. Marinelli a weapon here, too.

-----

Whoa. Bringing out Jason Garrett to get this one done. Heavy artillery.

And of course, the Widow Maker Marinelli himself.

It must have been a three course meal.

Why is Allen not part of this team yet? lol

Maybe the dinner with Garrett did not go that well.

Who said scared?

Have you ever tried to digest a meal in front of a ginger?

I am a man. Gingers present no problem for me...unless they are super sexy hot female gingers and then I start drooling.

People don't want to give TO any respect for whatever reason, but no way he wasn't a great player for us. Was a major part of our best years post Super Bowl.

Acquiring Allen would bring an attitude to the dline and the rest of the defense. Hopefully Dallas drafts some dlinemen in May and they can learn a lot from him.
