Garrett recapping #DALvsCAR on The Fan, "There were some bright spots, some things we can work on to get better"
Jason Garrett on yesterday's loss to Carolina, "Certainly it was not good enough. We recognize that, but there certainly were some bright spots"
Garrett on @dak "In every aspect of the game he can improve. I think he's going to get better and better."
Jason Garrett on going for it on 4th and 10, "The biggest thing we're trying to do is control our destiny there ... We gave our self an opportunity and unfortunately it didn't work out"
Jason Garrett responds to criticism on the lack of creativity, "I do think we will continue to evolve and I do think if you watched the game closely we made some changes ... We'll look at the tape, try to clean it up and move forward"
Garrett on Randy Gregory report "We really don't know anything about that."

#Cowboys coach Jason Garrett tells @1053thefan he thought they competed hard yesterday against the #Panthers.
Sunday was not good enough, but there were bright spots and things they can build upon.
the "minus plays" in the first half were not really due to preseason rust.
the passing game didn't execute versus the #Panthers. "It's not so much the big plays, but the little plays that get you going in a game like that."
there is no question that you can continue to grow in your accuracy as a quarterback.
they went for it on fourth-and-10 because they were "trying to control our destiny." They felt like it was the right thing to do there.
they feel good about Brett Maher going forward.
"Again, we don't really know anything about [Gregory relapse]. I don't know where those reports come from. The way the league sets it up we don't get a lot of reports on that." Says they will continue to support Randy Gregory.
#Cowboys coach Jason Garrett likes the way the defense tackled overall against the #Panthers.

Jason Garrett on @1053thefan said he has no knowledge of any suspension potentially looming over Randy Gregory. “I don’t know where those reports come from.” Repeated what Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones have said, the team is last to know in those situations

broken record.......

Been faithfully watching my Boys since 1974 and I can unequivocally tell everyone here that our COACHING STAFF is the SOLE REASON we have failed for the past 20+ years.

I don't need to add fancy stats OR comparison charts OR draft picks OR injuries OR depth charts or any other peripheral excuse that many JG lovers try to convince themselves with. We were usign the same excuses when we had Tony, Dez, Murray, Witten...are you kidding me !?!?!? STOP blaming DAK or anyone else!....maybe if DIpSH^#^# JG hadn't traumatized Dak by allowing CHAZ green to completely DEMORALIZE any confidence in our young QB by opening a flood gate of brutal sacks, maybe we would have the "old Dak" back......who knows, but the point is COACHING SUCKS for past 10 years. Period!

The LOGIC is indisputable. Wipe away all the glossy excuses and annual rationales (missed draft picks, injuries, Dak poor passing ) that makes you feel better! BE HONEST and ASK YOURSELF THIS QUESTION. If we kept everything EXACTLY as it is now or has been in ANY of the last 10 years, final 53, entire coaching staff, owners, FO, etc...same talent, same injuries, same staff, same drafts....every single thing the same and only made ONE CHANGE.......replaced RED-HEADED BUFFOON with Bill Belichick.....we would have had AT LEAST THREE Superbowl rings under our past talent (JW, TR, DB, DM)....over the past decade alone! Logically you can conclude that our HC is the problem.

I challenge any rational objective fan to disagree. Folks we have stunk in a sea of mediocrity for YEARS because of ONE THING - our despicable, inept, incapable HEAD COACH, who is a puppet, a figurehead at best.....a man-child that makes $6mill a year to do WHAT?!?! clap and pat butts and congratulate our players when they fumble or drop a pass or punt the ball away?

Bill Belichick's THIRD STRING could beat our starters, because he PREPARES, COACHES, MENTORS, TRAINS his ENTIRE team, game plan contingencies and scheme for success. EVERY position, EVERY string! He runs a very strict and tight ship, holds his team and individual performance ACCOUNTABLE for their actions. He can take any under-performing player and strategically mold them or cut them fast. STEALTH COACHING

JG is much more interested in being the player's "friend" than their coach or disciplinarian. At the NFL level, this approach has never and will NEVER work. Under JG, we will never, ever, ever make it our of mediocrity. The culture is already ingrained. No matter how much RAW TALENT we acquire, as long as that HC puppet fool is here, we are doomed.......no one will convince me of anything different. There is no discipline or accountability or pride or preparation or toughness or aggression.

Until you remove JG...no matter WHAT talent we bring on this team...we can get Tom Brady tomorrow.....JG will find a way to undermine our success...we are DOOMED folks

Breaks my heart.......

Exactly. We’re the try hards, oh shucks we will get them next week.

Just once, I wish Garrett would chew somebody out, bench somebody, get angry.

The process ENDS this year

He sure didn't look like a man with any answers during the game yesterday, did he?

No, he looked like a spectator who's been given a far better seat than he should ever have. With a seat license about to expire.

The one bright spot week 1 would be that we seemed to avoid injuries compared to Carolina. Gregory went out but I believe that was about it.

Did he spend his time clapping and spouting it's just part of the process. Garrett can't talk about football because
he doesn't know anything about football. His entitlement from Jerry has really cost this franchise and will affect them for
years to come.
