Pretty sure Jerry was the one "nudging" him earlier in the season to play Felix more.

I actually don't put that on Garrett. That is the type of thing that Wade does that drives me nuts.

He assigns people 'roles' and then he sticks with them no matter what. Its pretty obvious that Choice was 'assigned' the wildcat just as Carpenter was assigned to that zero down lineman formation the year before.

THats just what Wade does and its one reason why I think hes a lesser head coach versus coordinator.

Bottom line is that we were 14th in the league in scoring this year. 18th in the league in scoring last year. The only positive is that we were 2nd in yardage. But hell, we were top 5 in yardage the year BEFORE Garrett even arrived.

Red Jesus just can't finish folks. It's the same story every year. We move the ball down the field and can't punch it in, to the frustration of our players and fan base.

Which again begs the question why was Barber running off tackle so much?

A better question is: Why was Barber playing at all ? Can anybody on that coaching staff ( and THAT I will blame them for ) see he's done ? Unless Jerry Jones is forcing me to play him, I wouldn't even have dressed him for this game.

Off tackles runs were the plays where Felix had his best runs.. Attacking the Vikings' DE with the run IS the best way to slow them down some.

Garrett has no feel for the game. He is probably a good X and O's guy who knows how to exploit match up's but when it comes down to adjust and call plays on how the game is playing out, he has no clue.

and that's not something you learn, you either have it or you don't. Well I guess over time you can learn it, but who here is willing to wait 10 years before he learns it? Not me....

Wade said the same thing in a couple press conferences. It was as if he was taking jabs at Garrett in the media, if you recall. Wade probably needs to grow some cajones and order Garrett around, if he's not already.

Yes, the Oline sucked, but so did Garrett. And its not just today that he was outcoached, its time to get rid of him and move Wade just to defensive coordinator.

I'm going to leave my computer for a while. I just can't believe how stupid our OC is. And those who support his play calling this game make me wonder how much I really want to associate with my fellow fans.

I just need a break. My emotions are getting the best of me, but I want that darn red-headed ivy league moron off my team. That Clown!

For arguments sake, if you were the OC and had led your team to the #2 ranked O in the regular season, but suddenly found yourself without your starting LT and your 'starting' RB had nothing from the first snap of the game, what would you do?

I probably would have done what Garrett did. Try to run the quicker hitting plays so as not to get your franchise QB killed and prevent even more turnovers. Jones was clearly running the best, which is why he got the majority of the carries. But we were also behind the whole game, so we couldn't just run the ball all the time. Romo threw it 35 times, completed 62%, but couldn't get anything going downfield. Our entire WR corp caught 6 balls for 51 yards. That says a lot to me about how much time Romo had.

When your OL is a sieve, there's seriously not a whole lot anyone can do. It's the problem we had with our OL back in the early 2000s, and it reared it's ugly head again. Colombo coming off his injury was terrible, and Flo was out. We essentially had our two starting Ts out. Not many offenses are going to succeed against that OL with that being the case.

Dude, there are 3 former probowlers on the offensive line. Almost all of them were relatively high draft picks. If God is the only person that can coach them up, then we need to blow up the entire operation, Garrett included.

I agree with this. He did the same thing with Miles, if it wasnt for the injury to RW, I dont think Miles would of ever gotten into the starting lineup.

That's the problem right there....WP isn't "his" hire...JG was here prior to Wade.

Wade has ZERO to do with the O and JG has ZERO to do with the D.

So personnel issues on the O are all on JG. MBIII. Austin. RW. These are all roles that JG assigned....NOT WP, IMO.

Where they were picked isn't nearly as important as how they play. Someone needs to assess what needs to be done to get this fixed, because if it doesn't get fixed this team will never go much further than it got this year.

I apologize for being a hypocrite and stooping to ad hominem. But being a hypocrite doesn't make me wrong. :D

Peace, y'all, I'm out for a while. (I need a break.)

No screens, no playaction, no slants.

Garrett had no plan to counteract the Viking pressure.

3 points, 9 if Suisham doesnt blow.

Brutal offensive game plan, the Garrett devil avatar will be back.

That may be the case. If it is, then it was likely Garrett's decision to not go for it on 4th and 1.

Who knows.

they attacked us just like Philly did on defense just with better front 7 guys. like you said Tecmo did none of those things to offset the vikes pass rush.
