I hear you, Campo in that wet suit will never leave our memories I do agree with you in that the players know JG and JJ are extremely loyal to each other. So even if they may not heavily respect JG's coaching skills, they respect him for the relationship/family atmosphere he has developed with Jerry. Don't bite the hand that feeds you, etc.I get your point, but Garrett is not Campo. I think Garrett gets more respect and support from his players than Campo. That doesn't change that Garrett isn't getting the job done overall, but I think the players have respect for him, which is not a negative.
It pisses people off, but I like it.“How you doing, guys?” Lol. He’s a robot.
I am sincerely trying to see the positives of JG as our head coach. What competitive advantage do you feel he brings to the organization?
I like that JG couldn't care less why some fans think it's an insult to mock clapping. Like that legitimately has anything to do with anything.
#DeleteYes you read the title correctly. I am sincerely trying to see the positives of JG as our head coach. What competitive advantage do you feel he brings to the organization?
Winners do..lol He just seems to soft or atleast that's what he shows the fans. You got a group of semi-wealthy young menYou should look up some of his locker-room speeches. As far as aggression, I dunno that anyone would respond to that well.
those young guys need more than a quiet, calm coach. You keep thinking JG is the perfect coach and you will be sadly disappointed. I'd rather play for a guy like Gruden, Tomlin someone with some B@LL$You should look up some of his locker-room speeches. As far as aggression, I dunno that anyone would respond to that well.
His hair is really red. That's about it.
I'm sure you would tough guy, I'm sure you would. Why should he? He gets paid 6 million a year and there are no performance expectations. I'd be giving everyone the bird too as I clapped and gave high fives. I'd even throw in a few cliches about "processes" for that kind of money.
You're a complete idiot if you suggest I think JG is perfect, lmao.Winners do..lol He just seems to soft or atleast that's what he shows the fans. You got a group of semi-wealthy young men

That has more to do with Jerry than Garrett.Gets his players to buy in. We may get outcoached, but I have rarely seen this team just give up post Wade Phillips era.
Other than that, not sure how much credit the draft goes when it comes to the Jones gang, McClay and Garrett
a good season doesnt mean he'll become a better coach. In fact he's had a 13-3 season. all a good season does is extend his contract. A bad season will force Stephen to push Jerry into a new coach. I'd rather sit through 1 bad season than another 5 or 6 with him as HCI have actually seen some posters say they would prefer to have a really bad season if that meant he was fired and that just doesn't make sense to me. I prefer that he becomes a better coach and all of the time pays off.
I get the frustration but wishing a bad season on your own team is wacky. It is assuming that his absence will automatically make things better and I believe there are more problems than the HC to make things better with this team.
He’s intelligent, organized, consistent, and able to dampen the circus atmosphere Jerry insists on cultivating. He develops players well. He keeps the team focused, and they play hard.
Most of what he does poorly is massively exaggerated by upset fans. They hated his play calling, though his offenses were generally in the top ten in the league in terms of production/series. They are his press conferences, though fail to understand he does it for a very good reason. They hate his clapping...never understood why that was such an issue. Really, what they’re unhappy about is the team not going on a playoff run, and when they don’t like that result, the easiest person to blame is the coach. Personally, I don’t think he’s miss d the playoffs with a playoff caliber team until last season.
