don't offer your opinions unless you have the convictions to defend them.

I feel taken advantage of. Here I was posting ridiculous things like "Undrafted UDFA" and giggling at my own foolishness and now I feel almost guilty.

Owned indeed.

When you target a player 12 times in 103 snaps and he catches 7, with 2 drops, you have to wonder how much Tony trusts him. By comparison, Ogletree had 44 snaps, was targeted 8 times, caught 7 and had no drops.

Hurd isn't an Ogletree, let alone a Crayton.

How much does Ginn make? I wouldn't want to take on a big contract, for a marginal at best wr.

I wouldn't mind us getting him, he could be a decent slot receiver and a good returner for us. It would probably allow us to keep Felix off kick returns.

Do we know the result of all of those 103 snaps? I don't care if Hurd was not targeted on a play that went for a big play or TD to someone else. Especially if Hurd was only the 3rd or 4th option on the play.

In the last 3 seasons, Ginn has averaged 1829 all purpose yards per seasons. His problem, is holding on to the ball IMO. Last year, he was much better. He only had 2 Fumbles but in past years, he has been much worse. Still, an average of 1829 over 3 seasons is pretty dang good.

To put this in perspective, as good a year as Miles had last year, he only put up 1475 combined. Last year, Ginn had 1826 all purpose yards. That's not bad considering he only had 38 catches. The year before, he had 56 catches for 790 yards.

Last year, Crayton only had 37 catches and 622 yards. His All Purpose Yards last year were 1087 and that was by far, the best production of his entire career.

I think that I would would trade Crayton for Ginn if the opportunity to do so was there. Crayton is a good guy and a decent player but Ginn absolutely brings more to the table IMO.

Oh, no doubt that as a WR/KR Ginn would be an upgrade over Crayton.

what about a ted ginn for sam hurd trade, straight up. both could use a change of scenary. ginn as a returner and 4th WR is not bad. Hurd might actually get a chance to play in Miami. He is too much like crayton and Roy Williams and won't get a chance here. plus Sprano knows him.
