Jaylon Smith's nerve has no significant improvement yet

We need him this year

That is true, but it is not going to happen. All of the weekly new threads tha has and will be created is really a waste of time. When they drafted Smith, it was pretty well expected that he would not play at all this season. Drafting him also started the threads hoping expecting him to play this year. He is the least of my concerns for the coming season. The team knew upfront about the risk and his condition and if he even sees s practice field this year , it would be s pleasant surprise.

We are still 4 weeks away from TC and 10 weeks from Game 1......there is a lot more time before any declarations can be made

Hey bkight13...do you think the Night King can just raise his arms and make the nerve regenerate?

Just bringing some levity to an otherwise somber day in Cowboyland....

I think I would ask the Red Priestess first.......she can brick things back to life as well

Who expected anything from Jaylon? He might play in 2017 if we're lucky if not longer. I was ok with the pick but I would of rather picked Jack or Ragland no doubt.

Can John Snow play MLB?

too small.......but Tormund would do

Real football players suck it up and play. Smith should just drag that dead foot out there and play.

Thanks Reynaldo!

We knew what we were getting when we drafted him and we will enjoy the results of that choice next year as planned.

This isn't some ACL or MCL injury, this is a damaged nerve, it's not getting better anytime soon,

A nerve can fire today or months down the road. It's also possible it doesn't fire at all. It's too much of an unknown with no time table. All we can do is go off of the doctor that did the surgery and he thinks he will heal, just not sure when
