His physicality, frame, and contact balance remind me of Marshawn Lynch.
when 25 people in a row say you are drunk, time to borrow a quarter and lay down in the gutter.
When every single draftnik says you are full of crap, time to go to the toilet
NOT ONE OF THEM had the unanimous support Jeanty does. You simply cannot accept the fact that your view has no support from ANYONE that has EVER DONE a draft rating.Oh I get it now, the draftniks are never wrong/
Let's see, how about Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown, Blair Thomas, Kijana Carter, Curtis Enis, Trent Richardson, Ron Dayne. Just to name a few.
All of those were very high draft picks and very highly rated college players. NONE of them lit up the NFL, most were failures.
You seem to think I'm saying Jeanty is a sure-fire bust, a no-talent lump who's not worth a tinker's darn. I've already said I hope he does well, and will give him every chance to succeed, should the Cowboys draft him
But NOTHING is guaranteed, he may end up anywhere from a total flop to one of the top backs ever. We (and the draftniks) don't know how he'll end up.
Like I said, we'll see. If you don't like my opinion, that's fine, you don't have to agree.
But I don't have to agree with yours either. We'll just have to agree to disagree...
So, if Jeanty doesn't do well, you won't admit it. Figured that. Really don't know why you keep harping on this. As far as none of the players I mentioned had the support Jeanty does, that's just not true. Carter was the number one pick, no running back gets drafted no.1 without having consensus agreement of the "experts". So, there goes your "not one of them" statement. And many of the others were very high picks,NOT ONE OF THEM had the unanimous support Jeanty does. You simply cannot accept the fact that your view has no support from ANYONE that has EVER DONE a draft rating.
What’s your point? So, if Jeanty doesn't do well, you won't admit it. Figured that. Really don't know why you keep harping on this. Besides, why do you care what I think? All you have to do is say you think I'm wrong, and that you don't agree, and that's it. Can't help how you feel, and you are NOT changing my mind.
As I said, we'll just have to agree to disagree. If you can't do that, I'll just put you on my ignore list. I love a good discussion, but you're not discussing, just trying to get me to say my OPINON is wrong. Well, it may be, but so what? No skin off your nose.
Let's see what happens, that will be a certainty, not opinion, so one of us will be right and one will be wrong.
History will tell.
Time to move on to another discussion.
With the RB depth this year, the Cowboys have bigger needs at 12.The only real knock I have on Jeanty is that there are maybe 10 legitimate starting RB prospects in this draft. He’s a fantastic runner but the depth of this class is very good which makes it very tempting to pass on Jeanty to grab a rb round 2/3.
Penn State didn't shut him down.Penn State who has a legitmate defense shut him down, I feel like he is a considerable risk at 12.
He had a 3.5 ypc average on 30 carries. That’s being shut downPenn State didn't shut him down.
compared to his regular stats certainly. But for a lot of RBs that would not be a bad stat. Especially against one of the Top College Defenses and you are the only real offensive threat they have to worry aboutHe had a 3.5 ypc average on 30 carries. That’s being shut down
"Yeah, in your bra!!" Liar Liar
Didn't you hear? He wasn't finished growing and is taller now. That's why the official website of the Dallas Cowboys has him listed at 5'6" now."Deuce Vaughn, a running back for the Dallas Cowboys, was 5'5 1/4" and weighed 179 lbs at the 2023 NFL Combine. He was the shortest player measured at the combine since data collection began in 2003." https://bleacherreport.com/articles...ft-2023-scouting-report-for-dallas-cowboys-rb
LOL... OHHH!!! I just assumed they did like my old basketball team would do and listed him a bit bigger. Got'cha!Didn't you hear? He wasn't finished growing and is taller now. That's why the official website of the Dallas Cowboys has him listed at 5'6" now.
I hope you’re joking dude.Didn't you hear? He wasn't finished growing and is taller now. That's why the official website of the Dallas Cowboys has him listed at 5'6" now.
He sure was not a factor either. I would say they did a good job on him. I was not impressed at at all.Penn State didn't shut him down.

He is a very similar player to Gibbs (the Detroit running back), but is slightly slower and has more tackle breaking ability.Jeanty is 5-9 which could be 5-8 and 215 lbs. Has good speed, not sure how fast he is, I did see some that caught up to him.
He ran thru a lot of tackles, which wont happen as much in the nfl. And everyone is faster at NFL level.
I dont think he will be a bust, but he wont be as prolific as he was in college.
you cant judge these guys by stats, it is better to use the eye test.
I thought Henry was the RB to take instead of elliot, and I liked the RB detroit (name escapes me lol) picked over Bijian.
