Not out of the the realm of possibility that they bring in mcadoo and Nixon and this comes on mcadoos recommendation

I like that they are looking at new blood with fresh ideas, instead of the same ole recycled names.

Can we stop assuming he's not qualified?
That wouldn't be me.......I'm responding to Rooney Rule and viable interviews (interested, qualified, up & coming, track record, worthy of an interview).....why you mixed up on this?

I don't know how to feel about this.

See this is my problem.... you want to interview some dude from a failing Carolina Panthers coaching tree and you have a guy like Eric Bienemy with major offensive coordinator success who's not even thought of???

Yeah ok....

This is very, very likely.
Dallas will name a QB coach to work with Dak.
The OC will not call plays so will be some type of glorified run game coordinator.
Mike will be HC/OC. which is far as he prolly has one last go round to win big or go home.

Mike is going to toss a coin. Run/pass

I don’t think that he isn’t qualified…I just see many Black head coaches being used just for the Rooney rule and by teams on sham interviews even though they are plenty qualified. after days of radio silence on rumors of any links to who may be our new OC- the first report is Jeff Nixon whose black.

I want a fresh new voice and name and the best person for the position regardless of color

Do we really know what Bienemy does though? Seems like he’s just like George Edwards when he was the Vikings DC but was really Zimmer.

Perhaps to be running game coordinator while McCarthy is passing game coordinator especially considering Skip Peete is not coming back for illegal immigrants RB coach.
He's interviewing for the RB job.

I for one would not mind a hire like this. MM is calling plays next year and will be working a lot more with Dak than before. We need the run game to be more consistent. Maybe this guy can fix that...

Yep. The Panthers were a true offensive juggernaut last year.
They may not have been a juggernaut, but the overachieved. An offense that had no stars but a WR and playcalling was good with what he had to work with.

I like looking outside the organization for fresh eyes. The fact that he's not "well known" doesn't mean a whole lot to me. We have more talent then the Panthers and whose to say he wouldn't work well with what we have? Not banging the table for the guy but I'm not going to assume it's a bad idea right off the bat.

Eric Bienemy is a lateral move and would need permission from KC to interview him. That probably wouldn't happen
