The bigger question is who will be our offensive coordinator

Jeff Sullivan ‏@SullyBaldHead There are talks of not only bringing in an offensive coordinator, but a consultant, much in the way Dan Reeves was supposed to be in 2009.

Find a new board already. Lol

This is a joke. A consultant is not going to make a difference. Just another person to report to Jerry so he can make a "put on the blindfold and pin the tail on the donkey" decision.

The last thing we need is another cook in an already packed kitchen. What this organization needs is a new leader at the top.

What the heck is a "consultant" supposed to do :lmao2:

I'm sure a lot of people out there eager to get an easy paycheck from Jerry..easy money!

I don't want a consultant if he has no impact during games or the draft and free-agency. If they settle for just a consultant and no complete overhaul on offense, I will be angry.

Might as well hire a new head coach then.

Wow.

So what aspect is actually left to Garrett?

Press conferences.

Might as well just come out and admit that Jerry has so much faith in Garrett that he's willing to actually hire people to teach him.

Figurehead term to appease the fans. That's why Reeves left. He realized Jerry didn't actually expect him to really do any work.

Yes, if the OP is true...I might be tempted to get up and dance around my living room!! :)

You guys would be pissed if we won the Super Bowl. Can hear it now... "Did Jerry bring the pole dancers?"
How dare him go against our hate for him!

:laugh1: Get a ****in life!

So do the McKinsey guys get to drive around on a golf cart with a visor during training camp or do they just get the golf cart?

Honestly, if Jerry wants do give Holmgren $1mm to talk to him and be there during the draft it is not crazy. It is basically buying the Browns pre bowl draft board for $1mm. That is not bad.

problem is right now, no one in the kitchen knows how to cook

they only knw how to eat

If Holmgren is the consultant, he could take over in 2014 if Jason stinks it up next season.

Hah! Good one, although I slightly disagree. I think we have some good scouts, personnel people somewhere in the organization. It's just that the people they report to are morons.
