That happens almost every year. What has it really gained you?

A victory against the Cowboys in 2006 that apparently is the Superbowl for Saints fans.

Right. That WR corp that helped Romo put up the best numbers for a season of any QB in Cowboys history. Without Glenn.

Oh, yeah, they definately wen't backwards.

Try again.

And the only thing your secondary has brought in, as an improvement, that I even recall was the guy from the Colts, before last season, and he spent the whole season showing off his skills at his post NFL Career.

Being a spokesman for burnt toast.

You are wrong. Look for last year's draft pick, Usama Young to have a starting role this season. We drafted Tracy Porter from UI this season in the 2nd round who could turnout to be great. We also picked up Randall Gay from NE who started there last year. He will either start next to Mike McKenzie or work out of the nickel. We have improved. I guess we'll have to duke it out in the NFC Championship game.

Yes, but anyone who thinks clearly would see that it was a matter of out-scheming us, not out-talenting us. Sean Payton had the inside scoop on how Parcells likes to run things, and worked the old man over in the coaching department. The fact that their fullback was wide-open time and time and time again is all the proof you need.

Sean Payton doesn't have that advantage anymore, the schemes we run now are night and day compared to Parcells' antiquated version of the 3-4.

Can you explain why Dallas hasn't beaten NO since 1994?

Why do teams want to be rivials with the Cowboys so bad?

It is extremely annoying.

Especially when it is teams like the Saints and Texans that have never done anything, except lose.

It's been answered for you several times, you just can't process it. I find it rather funny how many of the fans posting in the thread joined this forum within the last year and a half. Funny how they weren't here during the down years. Maybe they just discovered the internet or maybe, as Dennis Green once said, "they are who we thought they were." If that's the case, I found a magazine subscription for each of you...

Are you actually assuming that when someone joined a Messageboard is probably the time they started cheering for a team?

That is extremely odd.

Oh, I joined in 2004. We sucked that year, so hopefully I passed your "sniff test"

Yet you fail to acknowledge the countless members here who have thousands of posts. How convenient. There's nothing wrong with being a new member to a forum dedicated to YOUR favorite team. Now being a new member on a forum dedicated to a team you don't even like....well, let's just say GET A LIFE.

Yes, I can. You've scored more points. Ultimately what have those wins gained you? Has it springboarded you to the next level? If you believe for one minute that if the Cowboys and Saints played every year that we would never win then you're out of your freaking mind. In football nothing is a given. See the New England Patriots and their 19 and Doh! season.

The overall record between the teams is still in Dallas favor 14-8. That means you need to win this year and 5 more times just to pull even. Ain't happening any time soon sweet pea.

what kind of goofy logic is this?

This board didnt exist till 2004. SOme people like myself posted on another board and didnt know about this one. I started posting here when I discovered the site.

IN fact before I moved I had never even realized message boards were out there.

So how would you measure someones fandom by that. That are plenty of things to measure it by, when you sign up to a message board or how many posts you have certainly is not one of them.

Or perhaps....like me....they were posting at a DIFFERENT site.

But then again, I'm sure you didn't think of that. Or think of anything, really.

I have other message boards too, that I belonged to... that go back to 2002, if you'd like a link to that as well.

Unfortunately, the nbadraft.net boards are gone as well. I was on those around 2001.

8+5 = 13
Apparently you can't read so I will bold it for you.

8+5+1 = 14

14 = 14, which means "pulling even."

I live in Dallas. I work with mostly Cowboys fans. I get to witness on a first hand basis the true definition of a Bandwaggoner. During bad years, they wanted nothing to do with the Cowboys. Now that winning times are back, they show up with head to toe Cowboys paraphenalia. The fact that your fan base doesn't support the team in bad years makes you what we call Bandwaggoners. Not all, of course, but many.
Bandwagon does not fit the members of this site. Almost every one of us was here through the Campo years. We have very few brand new fans here.

Sorry to pop your balloon.

Oh please. EVERY fan base has those.

Saying we have those is like calling the kettle black, Mr. Pot.

Amazing how many Saints fans I saw the year you went to the NFC Championship game. Never knew the Saints had much of a fan base in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Pretty cool.

whoa.

Now you are calling me a bandwagon fan? Thats interesting. You know nothing about me yet you are calling me a bandwagon fan.

I live IN Dallas-fort worth too? I dont know any bandwagon fans. I know they are out there but I dont personally know any.

I can spot them a mile away when I am in the stadium, but I dont personally know any.

I can tell you this though, I saw plenty of bandwagon saints fans at the stadium in 06. I remember they were everywhere that night. THey were insulting, rude, obnoxious and not very intelligent about the game. People standing up and cheering for the wrong players because they didnt even know half of the players.

Its pretty ridiculous that you are hear calling people you dont know bandwagon fans. So far you have been here for a day and half and all you have done is brag about a big win in 06, call out romo, call out the franchise and say they suck and now you are calling us loyal fans bandwagon fans.

If you expect people to be civil with you, you may need to change your stance and just talk football. But then again none of us know anything about our team or any other and you are just here to school us. So please continue.

After reading this thread, I'd say that some of the Saints fans are right, there is some bitterness. Well that, and the usual cowboy blinders that so many wear around here. But hey, that’s ok, this is a cowboy fan based forum. Thats what we're supposed to do. Obviously there is bias. Same with the Saints fans on their forum. Would anyone expect anything different? You see a few rational and objective people posting, but most are just big fans of an undefeated team. Same with every team at this time of year. They are all undefeated now.

Objectively, the Saints look really strong on paper. We know they have a top line offense, and it should be even better this year. They also improved their defense a lot. of course, who knows what injuries can come, and what really is going to happen. That's why we play the games.

Besides, after what they did to the cowboys last time, ( be it coaching or talent), the only way to shut them up is to beat them, and that's fair enough. Remember what they did to the Boys? They didn’t just beat them, they rolled over them, or at least that #44 did.
