Okay, I really don't think it's possible for anyone to be quite this dumb, but I'll give you the benefit of a doubt and just say that you are...

Allow me to provide an example for the learning impaired:
Terry Glenn, 2006, 1047 yards receiving, 6 TDs...

Terry Glenn, 2008, can't get on a roster because he knees are shot
Are we seeing the big picture now? Just because player "A" does something fantastic 2 years ago, doesn't guarantee that same player success 2 years later. Does that compute?

Okay, just in case it didn't... let's bring it a little closer to home...
Mark Brunell, 2005, starter in Washington 3050 yards passing, 23 TDs, 10 INTs
Mark Brunell, 2008, Backup to Drew Brees, will be very lucky to throw 20 passes at all this season
Okay, now allow reality to set in... it doesn't matter what your roster was in 2006 or how well they played. It is 2008.

Could the Saints be good this year? Absolutely. But I'll guarantee that it has nothing to do with the team that beat the Cowboys in 2006. It will have everything to do with the roster and talent that's assembled in 2008.

Please tell me you have it this time, because I honestly want to believe that you are not entirely ignorant.

You picked players that are 34 and 37 respectively. Nice try. I guess two years to people in their 20's is a lifetime to you. It hasn't been that long since you got embarrassed on national television 42-17 AT home.

You clearly just don't get it. Stop trying. Not everyone can think logically. I'll bet that you can find an episode of the Teletubbies on tv right now to stimulate that brain of yours though.

Troll on out of here.... :lmao2: BTW the Cowboys have 5 more superbowls than the Aints!! Hahaha!

That you do. Congrats.

As far as your sig picture, two funny things. One, you sent a record 13 players to the Popularity bowl....oops, Probowl and couldn't win one postseason game AT home. Two, Roy Williams, enough said.

This from a guy whose team went 7-9 and DIDN'T make the playoffs?

This from a guy whose team has only MADE THE PLAYOFFS 6 times in 41 years?

Really, you are too much. :lmao2:

you seem pretty bitter. not sure why.

is there anything else you care to share with us about our team?

You havent made a Jessica Simpson reference yet or a tank johnson gun reference.

Please tell us more about how we stink will never win. We never get that around here. I mean other fans never come here and immediately start yelling and taunting saying we havent won a playoff game or romo cant.

So please feel free to tell us how else we suck.

Oh please kiddo, T.O. is creeping on 35 and hasn't slowed down a lick, so age really is not a guaranteed determining factor of success.

We could go through a whole list of players who are in their mid 30s and still play like they are in their mid 20s.

But before we do, let me remind you of something again...

The Saints went 7-9 and DIDN'T make the playoffs.. so shut up.

The Saints have only MADE THE PLAYOFFS 6 times in 41 years.. so shut up.

It took the Saints 20 years in the league before they even MADE THE PLAYOFFS... so shut up.

It took the Saints 33 years to WIN A PLAYOFF GAME... so shut up.

We really don't have to do this all day, quit with the jealousy and wake up to the fact that the Saints have been in the league since 1967 and have never won a single thing... NOTHING. Not last year, not in your beloved 2006.. NEVER. Suck it up and stop acting like a dumb fanboy.

Dude none of that has to do with 2008, why are you constantly bringing that stuff up.

the saints are a darn talented team. Both teams are different from 06.

I never understand these arguments.

Do us both a favor and read more than just my last post in this thread. I've been saying exactly what you just said since this thread began... 2006 means nothing for either us or the Saints.

It's all about 2008. Nothing from one year to the next is ever the same in the modern NFL.

Sounds like we are on the same page, don't 'ya think?

Sounds like you are 9. You can't seem to understand that the reference I made was to the players mentioned in the post I was responding to. The post mentioned that our secondary, receivers, and running backs sucked. I responded that they were the same ones that beat the Cowboys the last time they played. It has nothing to do with anything other than that. Oh and of course that you can't debate or make a valid point without throwing in historical figures about the two teams postseason records. Mrs. Snodgrass in 3rd grade is going to have a tough time with you next year.

He is the exception and not the rule. Go ahead and give me that whole list of mid 30's players who are playing like they did in their 20's right now. I'll wait awhile to give you some time to come up with this list that should be so easy for you to comprise.

When you grow up, don't consider the profession of law. You are an absolute horrendous debator. I said that as nicely as I could.

OMG, okay lets do this one more time...

Yes, many of the players are the same. Are we straight on that point? Good.

Does this mean that the ones that beat us in '06 will be the same talent wise that we may meet in the playoffs this season? Yes... No... who knows? Exactly, we don't yet. But don't pretend as though because these "same players" from '06 had success against us then that they would do it again in '08.

Why exactly would I make that presumption?

Because as little as one season later (2007 for the mathematically impaired) this "mighty" Saints team as you have said, went 7-9 and didn't make the playoffs. But the "miserable" '06 Cowboys came back the next season (2007 for those whom are still mathematically impaired) and went 13-3 and actually made the playoffs.

Thus, just because the Saints were good in '06, sucked in '07, it doesn't tell us a dang thing about '08. Talent? Yes... and quoting you...

"The post mentioned that our secondary, receivers, and running backs sucked. I responded that they were the same ones that beat the Cowboys the last time they played."

True. And the SAME squad that BEAT us in 2006, is the same squad that went 7-9 and missed the playoffs in 2007....

SO, what does all of this mean? Nothing. The same squad in 2008 could suck for the Saints, or it could be great... but none of it will have ANYTHING to do with the Saints win over the 'Boys in 2006.

Good response. I will cease the personal attacks. He just made it so easy.

You and your 3 division titles in over 40 years needs to walk your sorry behind back to those worthless Aint boards. You clearly aren't wanted here, nor are you wanted by your parents.

Because you are such a loyal fan and have been here so long, I should respect you. Yet another Cowboys fan who thinks it necessary to repeat the same thing that was already said 40x in this thread. EVERYONE in the world knows that you have won 5 Superbowls and the Saints have won none. AGAIN, congratulations for that and for finding this website all of 3 months ago.

My poor parents. How will they ever be able to explain the fact that you have discovered that they don't want me?
