Dude just FYI - Im in the business and you don't get a ticket to the Oscars for an "upcoming movie" and the fact it's a movie about the NFL draft would put you way down the list in Hollywood - they could care less.

This is all about a 'look at me night' of narcissists which makes perfect sense why Jerry is there.
 
This only matters if you foolishly believe he doesn't let the scouting department do their jobs.
 
I am sure when Jerry called Larry Lacewell about going Larry said it was ok to go.

Actually Hollywood writers are hot on Jerry's trail. They want to do an screenplay about his 40 year old brain in a pickled 71 year old body.

Well, if I had his money, I'd go the Oscars too, but I'd go with someone a lot better looking.
 
Calm down people. He is there to scout out the untapped talent. Word has it that Jonah Hill can play guard and Jared Leto is a potential TE, the position he played in a few High School games :D
 
Who cares? It will probably take him 3 hours or less to get back on his GV.
