There you have it from the horse's rea....... mouth. Jerry Jones made this statement this morning on 105.3 The fan. It's copied on the official website.

"I completely believe we have the quarterback that can take us where we want to go," Jones said. "Dak Prescott is a quarterback that can get us to the Super Bowl. And that's the way that's going to be."

I realize Jerry says all kinds of ridiculous stuff. I also realize that he can't really publicly dump on his QB. Though I had hoped for something a little more motivating to #4.

If Jerry's not careful, he's gonna have the whole locker room pack it in mid season. It'll be interesting to see how Kellen Moore game plans against us this coming Monday. Lose that one, & Jerry is sure to have even more egg on his face....

Maybe with mahomes, thats about it.

This team simply isnt champ quality.

Last year he was telling us we go as zeke goes. Lol

They simplified the whole offense for him this year, what more do you want? LOL
It's not simplified, it's based on getting the ball out faster. It's what MM ran in Green Bay. Is Aaron Rodgers stupid? No. But he's a different kind of QB than Dak,

Dallas' offense wasn't broke but MM fixed it until it was broke.

Took away the option routes. Less passing than running. Easier reads, ball out faster. That’s simplifying.

And actually agree with all of it. Ain’t nothing wrong with being a bus driver. But… I also thought the defense would be a lot more consistent.

Jerry might think he means what he says, but this time I think he will be forced to change his mind.
The jig is up.

I rewatched the game.

On every single Dak pick, Lamb was wide open.
How CeeDee Lamb is used is a major point. And I am not saying that because he is my WR1 on my fantasy football team.

Your number one receiver is the main target in your passing attack unless you are quarterback blessed with a tight end like Mr. Taylor Swift. It does not matter how wide open your offensive scheme is. Or how wide open other receivers are. The quarterback should spread the ball around BUT your number one target should be A read going through your progressions. And your number one target should be your first read IF you have gotten away from going through your progressions.

An injured Davante Adams is a good example of your number one receiver's importance. Adams played mostly as a decoy last night against Green Bay BUT he was still targeted when it was necessary.

Lamb's value should not be undervalued. Not during practice. Not during games. Do whatever it takes but get Lamb the ball. If Prescott must undergo some hypnosis-therapy sessions to fool him into seeing Lamb as Amari Cooper, so be it.

Making money is his forte.

I think, if he gets rid of Dak, he loses "money".

There you have it in a nutshell.

Stay tuned.

Jerry 100% has to back up his QB right now and that isnt even up for debate. They lose 3 of the next 4 games or something like that then we can have a real discussion about the player. When Jerry does have a quote in the media though I always look at the details, as Jerry is a master of saying nothing out of something.... "Dak is A quarterback that can get us to the superbowl".... Nothing about that suggests Jerry can't separate from Dak as he suggests Dak is "A" QB, not the "only" QB....nothing in there is wrong either. Dak is more than capable of making a superbowl. This is a quality team, Dak is a good but not great QB. If a few things fall right this team is very capable. In the end Jerry has done exactly what he does best.....the guy has made headlines with a quote that really has zero substance behind it.
I used to think this too, but the past couple of seasons after his ankle injury have shown me the light. He was never the same mentally after it. He panics too much in high pressure games (like divisional playoff rounds.)

The guy is done.

I mean he threw it to Lamb more when he had Amari, I think this scheme has CD and Dak in a funk

I mean what else is he going to say at this point? He's got major cap space tied up in this guy and it would be a borderline disaster having to admit he isnt the guy and either cutting him or trade him.

But sometimes, you just gotta bite the bullet. Dak should be done here after this season unless something miraculous happens. He's run his course.

Dak and booger are the same people. Dak is always saying he has to play better but he never does. Jerry is always saying he'd do anything for a Super Bowl but he never does. Two peas in a pod.

We've got Alex Smith at QB. Great stats, win a lot of games, but can't win when it matters. And you know what Andy Reid did with Alex the bus driver?

Well, someone should go out and buy a can of Febreze and spray the entire thing on McCarthy, Schottenheimer and Prescott, lol.

Romo was not nearly as good as some of you would like everyone to believe.

He's a failed QB in Cowboys history. A chronic choker in big moments.
Did he ever get beat by the same time three times in a row?
