Must have a weather proof warehouse underground filled with NDA's from anyone he has ever done business with.

If he is this controlling...word would have gotten out by now.

You're not able to make it make sense. You're gonna have to lean into "every time he's pulled the mask off he forces NDA's"

None of it makes sense

deep breathe...long sigh....

assuming all these rumors that have come out in the past 2 years, building up stronger and stronger until today...

Jerry knows exactly what he is doing.

he created an illusion for money.

if Jerry has taught his kids this crap, that the sport should be secondary to money, and creating controversy makes you way more money...nothing is changing when Stephen takes the helm, as his siblings are going to want the cash cow to continue.

since the family is making tons of money in the media, using the Cowboys as the controversy to fill media air time, nothing will change. it will be the same crap "why the hell did he do that" "why why why"

jerry is fielding good teams, but he isnt gonna play GM like the other Clubs....they are strictly about football, Jerry is about money and football....and making dumb decisions on purpose with the Cowboys is how he makes money

all the posts claiming Jerry stupid....are stupid. assuming all this is real
Sure Stephen, Sure . You got us all fooled .

Why are you arguing with him? In his eyes Jerry can never do anything wrong, that is why he Whirls around in his brain...but cannot win.

Jerry paid Jimmy a fat settlement and released him from his contract...i want to work for you if you pay fat settlements to people that resign....and lets remeber Jerry doesnt like paying coaches not to coach..so again Jimmy was told to leave how they worded it doesnt matter to me.

I liken Jerry to a blind squirrel -- sooner or later, he's liable to find that nut out of sheer luck!
It couldn't be because he's knowledgeable, but it may be because he just got flat-out lucky! :muttley:
I'd say I'm as skeptical as anyone here, but the law of averages eventually comes into play!

That's not a bad idea. Short contracts that hold you accountable.......you win, your in....you lose, you're out. Kinda like in the real world that most of us live in.
In my years of experience in the corporate world, it was the executive level that took the blame or credit for business failure or success, not the drones or middle management. I believe all levels must share equally in both in order to achieve their goals. It seems like the Jones' want credit and refuse to accept blame for the team not succeeding.

It's never been more clear to me than right now... Jerry doesn't know what to do.

He didn't know what to do in FA. So he did little to nothing.
He didn't know what to do with renewing contracts, so he drug it out and made mistakes.
He didn't know what to do with MM, so he hemmed and hawed until MM got so fed up he just said *** it.
Now he doesn't know what to do with the new HC. And if you are seriously considering the candidates he's interviewed, that is clear!

He is completely lost.
I beg to differ. he never cared about FA, he knew what needed to be done, but didn't want to spend the money.
he new what he was doing with contracts, specially Dak. he milked the media and publicity until literally the last hour.
he wanted MM back, but didn't know his actions have caused a lot of headache for MM who wasn't willing to put up with him any longer
he is struggling with new coach, because he is trying to see which one is most popular among fan base, so he is putting out feelers and he is milking that publicity.
nobody is talking about raiders opening. or anybody else for that matter, but cowboys are on the news...exactly what jerry wants.

Jerry is a marketing machine and all his actions are calculated to emphasize that and maximize profits.

Jerry is looking for desperate or cheap coaches. Nobody else wants to talk to him.
Just an observation, chief. Everybody else but the likes of you and Rambo seem to agree with my opinion. Do you and Rambo work for Jerry?

This means Romo at OC doesnt it?

Dont know if I have read that yet.

They were besties. Would Romo leave a plush job to get the competitive juices flowing? His voice will be on hospice if he starts coaching and having to yell. i dont think he is a yeller, though.
I think Romo would ignore the phone calls. New phone who dis?

I heard it on the radio a few years ago that Stephen Jones is one of the stupidest people you would ever meet in your life not football stupid - but fitting a circle into a square stupid.

He’s the guy pushing for Schottenheimer.

Good for Mike McCarthy, letting these morons rot.
