This offseason was really just the last straw for me. What an absolute joke, I've never seen anything like it. Stephen is allergic to free agency and every decision is ridiculous. But they never have any problem over paying their own players. Just a stupid, stupid football team. It's not even about rooting for losses. I like seeing Jerry stew in that, but those losses are coming either way. That's what ownership created here after 3 12 win seasons. I've been a fan for over 50 years and they sucked the life right out of that. This team was an institution and Jerry turned it into a circus.
Exactly. This offseason after the GB debacle, bringing Zeke back was the final straw

The GB game was the last straw for me. I have barely watched any games this season. The only time I see a game is when it happens to appear on the redzone channel. I'm glad that the media is not scared to confront him anymore. They used to hint at it and if he scoffed they would back off. Now it full go and they don't care if it Jerry gets mad. Fans are fed up with it.

I will always be a Cowboy fan but I can't invest my time in this team anymore. Jerry needs to go.. I have been a person that was half-hearted in saying that but I am all the way ready for him and the entire Jones family to go. It won't happen but it needs to. Re-signing Dak again was incredibly stupid. He will never win anything of significance. This franchise needs a full reboot and that will not happen now because he caved and kept Dak. Starting over is not always bad. You can't keep making tweaks with the roster and coaching staff when it's already bad. He has turned this proud franchise into a laughing stock for decades.

'I'll get somebody else to ask these questions'
Classic Jerry
I once was involved with a very wealthy guy. Like JJ, he was an egomaniac and thought everything and everyone had a price. Anyway, we got into it one day over something business-wise and he came unglued on me in the vein of what JJ did in the interview. After he got through (or thinking) he had belittled me, I told him that having money didn't mean he was right, and it certainly didn't mean he was a good and decent person. It simply meant he had some money and that was all. I then laughed at him and told him that, most of you wealthy folks really don't know how to handle someone who's not for sale.

I hope the Dallas media isn't for sale.

The wrong ones were doing the questioning. Now, if those had been real fans sitting there or if there had been people that knew what they were talking about, football people, I might have had a different answer.

He doubled down on his comments later this afternoon

Those guys are real fans and they are asking the same questions everyone has been asking on social media. Jerry still thinks this team is good, he is in for a long fall.

Free agents don't really come here because we aren't active in free agency. Players go where the money is. We don't offer enough money for the good free agents. We scrape the bottom of the barrel of free agency. I mean unless you are a player trying to snatch a ring, money will always rule over anything else. But Stephen Jones is the biggest bargain bin shopper I have seen.
I don't believe you can pull a needle out of his butt with a tractor ..

Same here, the playoff game was a disaster, but I still wanted to see how they handled the offseason. Then they proceed to do absolutely nothing and then sign the QB on opening day! After that embarrassing playoff loss they made it a million times worse. They didn't improve a single area on the team.

Booger is that guy. You know the one you wouldn't cross the street to urinate in his ear if his brain was on fire.

But Booger doesn't have a brain so you'd only be wasting the urine.

Screw Jerry I hope the Dallas (and national) media lay in on him more. He shouldn't be threatening people's jobs.
He’s a bully. He thinks because he struck oil 40 years ago (yes that long ago) he’s better than everyone walking planet earth. He’s just the worst kind of human. Easily inside the top 10 people that disgust me.

Anyone who takes their own biological child to court over him not wanting to have his affairs exposed is revolting. Anyone who signs a man who hit his GF and threw her against a wall is revolting. Anyone who wants to scare radio hosts for doing their job is revolting.

I always defended him as a business man. Not a GM, not a decent human, but as a business man. We all know he's full of it and is a terrible GM, but he knows business.

With that being said, I couldn't be more disappointed with what he said today. I've lost the rest of the small respect I've had for him and after listening to that today, I'm sure he doesn't care.

If he treats these guys like this on the radio and clearly with a business relationship, imagine how he would treat a single fan that questioned him in private with no recordings.

I would encourage you guys to speak with your money and not buy tickets, memorabilia, and if you can manage it, don't watch the games. Watch highlights.

Jerry starting to realize all his money isn’t going to shield him from the criticism and animosity towards him. If he thinks it’s bad now he’s in for a long season. This actually almost makes it worth it for me to see this foolish old man look the part
yesssir!! I am here for it and i love it!

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to @DMRussini on getting angry this morning during a weekly radio interview:

“I don’t know that I would go as far as (calling) the volume connotation as yelling. OK? But the facts are that if I’m going to be grilled by the tribunal, I don’t need it to be by the guys I’m paying. I can take it from fans and take it from other people. I take a lot of pride in how fair and how much I try to work with the media, we’re brothers and sisters. But I was a little frustrated there today. … The wrong ones were doing the questioning. Now, if those had been real fans sitting there or if there had been people that knew what they were talking about, football people, I might have had a different answer.”

that’s the problem nobody on payroll stands up to Jerry
