I think jerry needs to be investigated, like synder and his exec's, and gruden!
Lets see what jerry has said in HIS emails and text's !!

Then make him sell the team.

What he did publicly, threatning to get someone fired because he didnt like the questions, is totally out of line.
I've been saying that, you know there has to be something damaging enough that the league would force him to sell the team. We need our own Woodward and Bernstein, investigative reporters, that can find our "Deep Throat" that knows "where the bodies are buried".

As we just saw this is not a fight a local media outlet should be taking on just due to conflict of interest concerns, it should be handled on the national level or by a journalist with no tie to the Cowboys. This really was a bad move by Jerry in this case and hopefully some acknowledgement of the error is coming soon.

Additionally, I'm going to take this further! Now it's going to put the person who asked the question in a tough spot. He may really want to criticise what we can all see needs to be pointed out. Sometimes, you have to highlight where the problems on the team are for them to be fixed. Part of being a fan is knowing where the flaws are so we can understand what needs fixing. In the media, the person asking the questions needs to be able to tell Jerry where we all see the problems are. Now, he had his job questioned for doing what probably every Cowboys fan was wanting to know from Jerry.

This leads him, someone who is probably not making a huge amount of money, to have to choose whether to kiss Jerry's tail or do what needs to be done to do his job. It's further why I am DISGUSTED with Jerry. I hope people now see how slimy Jerry is. For him to do that to a media person who makes a fraction of what he makes who's trying to do his job, PATHETIC AND REVOLTING.

Shannon said that he wouldn't shed a tear if we never make another playoff for the remainder of the time Jerry is the owner as a result of what Jerry did. I always want us to make the playoffs and win. That said, as I stated in one of my threads yesterday, this team probably has at least 2-4 years needed to rebuild (assuming it's done right) to even be close to championship caliber. it may not even be something that Shannon hopes happens. Jerry is 82. His response today reeks of a man who knows the grim reaper is drawing closer and is in a corner. He probably knows he hasn't got long left. And he probably realises that, even if he went into a full rebuild, he may not be alive to see its fulfillment.

So, it begs another question in my mind. Is Jerry trying to make things so bad to the point where Stephen has no chance of rebuilding this team? Look at where the Raiders are now! Look what Al Davis (Jerry's mentor) left Mark with! Is that our future?
I always read your posts in full, but to pinpoint here, No, it just comes natural to Jerry.

Voch is right but as usual very slow to the point.

One would think that mental healthcare professionals would be speaking to the league office about these matters.
He seems unwell to me, unhinged possibly. But I'm just a football fan.
Maybe a call from upstairs will send Jerry to the blue medical tent for eval.

When he ****canned Tom I was angry. My fandom took a big hit where I really didn’t care much if they won or lost for several years including all Jimmy’s super bowls.

I guess things come full circle.

Apparently suing your own biological child to keep your affairs quiet isn’t enough. He also has dirt on every other owner so they can’t force him out. He’ll nuke everyone to save himself.

The fans have the ultimate vote and that vote is with their wallet. Case in point is when little Danny Snyder owned the Commanders you could see the handwriting on the wall. All the Commanders stores were suddenly empty. No one was buying merchandise and the team stores were a ghost land. The team started to suck and the fans went away. The waiting list to get season tickets vanished. The on field product was so stinking bad the fans left in mass. He'll visiting teams took over the wreck of a stadium the Commanders played in.

Well a couple names changes later, followed by more stnk on the field, along with sexual allegations by team management and Danny boy was gone.

New owners with brains showed up. Better management and then better players arrived. Fans became optimistic again as the saw smart ownership arrive. The arrow is pointed up for the Commanders now. I suspect by next year they will be the class of the Division.

And back to the Cowboys. No arrow is pointed up. We are firmly in the rinse and repeat mode, saddled by massive salaries, poor coaching and entitled players.

The only thing to do is stay away and hold onto your wallets. Maybe for fans to wear bags over their heads will be the next step, if the wheels totally fall off.

Jerry sucks and routinely screws up without concern for reprimand. Wouldn’t shock me if in a couple years he mortgages the future entirely, trading away numerous picks and handing out more horrible contract in one last hurrah before he goes. Won’t be his problem to sort out and if he hangs around long enough to see actual rebuilding years he can dump the whole thing on his son.

It's narcissism and entitlement at 82 years old. Jerry doesn't solely build these decisions. He also has one dimensional executive management team that includes his son, Stephen. Jerry has gotten hard questions before, but now he is becoming even more of an oppressive, cantankerous fool afraid that his legacy will be tarnished in the media. He definitely crossed the line threatening the media staff that refuses to be his sunshine propaganda tool.

The Jones family attitude towards the team, THE FANS,THE MEDIA, IS ARROGANT and disgusting. The mask has been fully ripped off of Jerry Jones. Now the entire world knows who he is without 1 shred of doubt.

I hate to say it but the Texans are gaining ground. JJ is really going to be upset if he discovers that the Cowboys are no longer Texas’s Team …..

So, what's going to happen going forward?
This team will be lucky to get to 8 wins as currently constructed.

But I bet you believe they will win 12 games still?

This team is not good. Injuries or not they didnt replace the guys that left in FA. Expected rookies to come in and contribute immediately. That arrogance is why this team is where it is currently.

And Jerry HATED being questioned about their off-season because he knows they should have done more. And they could of. Playing broke peasant was just a slap in the face to the fans that actually know better.

What should happen going forward? This entire coaching staff being given their walking papers, tanking for a top pick, bringing in a new young coach with new ideas in the modern NFL and letting him pick his own staff, and Jerry and his family staying out of football operations.

What is going to happen? Coaching staff stays until end of season, Jerry hires Belichek, we finish with 8 wins and get a mid first round pick.

It’s not senility, it’s the same thing it’s always been, it’s his narcissism. The Cowboys are the most valuable sports team in large part because of the fans and moreover, their loyalty. Let’s face it, they haven’t truly won anything in decades. They could have and probably should have ripped the band aid off this year for free agency and tried to address some big needs, tough to do it all through the draft. I think he knows it, although he will never publicly admit it, and that’s why he was so pissy about that line of questioning.
Some people see it for what it truly is.
