I'll go one step further. I've been listening into First Take while I work. Shannon Sharpe and Marcus Spears said something that I couldn't agree more with. I DESPISE what Jerry did here. Just when I couldn't feel worse about Jerry, he does this. This is him attacking a guy who was doing his job holding Jerry accountable. Jerry wants the credit when things go well, then he needs to handle the criticism when things go poorly. For him to call for someone's job who was doing his job is DISGUSTING!! I am revolted by what Jerry did. He needs to call back into that radio show and apologise to the host!

And you know something? The way he just bullied a media person for something that is ENTIRELY on Jerry. I HOPE the Dallas Media comes to that host's defence. I hope they become like a hive against Jerry. I hope it becomes a situation where he just poked the wrong bear. I hope this starts a sequence where he gets run out of Dallas.
Hopefully his little ego-driven hissy fit will make national news and embarrass him over and over for a few months. That will be glorious.

And the Jerry bootlickers will brag like this is an impressive moment for Jerry. Same people who loved him landing his helicopter on the practice field.

"That's my owner! Best owner and GM in the league!" :flagwave:
There will be a few of those idiots always around. But what he did today is going to have a major backlash on him one thing people can't stand is a bully

"This is not your job. Your job isn't to let me go over all the reasons that I did something and I'm sorry that I did it. That's not your job. I'll get somebody else to ask these questions. I'm not kidding. You're not going to figure it out what the team is doing right or wrong. If you are, or any five or 10 like you, you need to come to this (NFL) meeting I'm going to today with 32 teams here, you're geniuses.

"You really think you're gonna sit here with a microphone and tell me all of the things that I've done wrong without going over the rights? Listen, we both know we're talking to a lot of great fans, a lot of great listeners. And I'm very sorry for what happened out there Sunday. I'm sick about what happened Sunday. "...

One of the stupidest things I've ever done, that anybody had ever analyzed was buy the Cowboys. It was an idiot that did that. So idiot things can turn into good decisions. Smart things can turn into bad decisions. The facts are when you make one, you don't really know if it's going to be good or not at the time. You want some conversation this morning, you're getting it."

I bet this is a sample of what happens in meetings at the Star. No one is willing to ask tough questions that will bruise his ego or authority. This franchise is in shambles.

Ive said it before and I'll say it again..Jerry's ego is the only thing his money has to fear....well here it comes, the fan doesn't need him just like the ticket didnt need him and his ego will not be able to handle the fallout...now lets pray he doubles down on this and starts a fight...i thinks its 50/50 if he does that or calls back in and walks his comments back.

It has. Check out BSPN and NFL Network. It's how I was able to hear what Shannon and Marcus Spears were saying. If there's one place, besides your fans who he gaslights regularly, you don't attack as an NFL owner, it's the media. And he did.

this wasn't just testiness. This was outright threatening behavior, held their jobs over their heads. This has to be stopped. Hes out of control. Its dangerous.
meh - he can't do anything to get them fired - if anything the fact that they stood their ground and kept their cool solidified their jobs even more.

SO refreshing to finally see the dallas media pushing him.

You're not lying....I was more excited to open this thread than I was for the game on Sunday.
Damn. Facts. I speed-watched that trash up until halftime on Sunday...and then refused to watch the rest of it. Even though I detest the Dak Dividians more than ever...we can all agree on one thing: This season was predictable. Anyone who thought we were going to be competitive this year was just guessing hoping to be right and/or is a kool-aid drinker.
