With all due respect I think they know exactly what they are doing . Their priorities are not winning a championship now but rather remaining relevant, interesting and consistent .

Worse case scenario Jethro and Son is starting over or hitting rock bottom. 12 win playoff seasons is their primary goal. It keeps fans engulfed with hope for each season . And it keeps them tuned in, at the turnstile and buying merchandise for their favorite stars.

It’s good entertainment sports business. Just probably not going to produce championships. It could but not as likely in this era.

Comparing the Eagles to the Rams is dumb. The Rams traded away multiple years of picks for aging players.. Eagles didn’t do that, they signed young FA’s and a bunch of one year prove it deals. They didn’t trade away draft capital and they have cap space.

Then they have to do it again. That is the risk/reward of building the team for the here and now. Not sure they will be able to use both of those 1sts btw...cap is an issue.

Why would they have to tear down the team? They have a young core which is signed, cap space and draft capital. They have decisions on some vets and upcoming FA’s but every team has those decisions.
