In other words, week 18, a game that will not matter to the Cowboys, he is going to go all out to win and potentially drop our draft positions 4 or 5 spots.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: "There's no question that you can carry over good play from one season to the next. Potentially we even did that, we carried over not-so-good play against Green Bay that we had in our last game in the playoffs last year. I think it's naive to think that you don't have carryover."

lots of thing "can".
Lot's of things don't

How long before the men in the white coats come to take Jerry to the AT&T billionaire rest home?

There's no question?

Actually, Jerry, I have a few.

Are you going to procrastinate so long on Parsons contract that it becomes a major distraction during preseason, thus reducing any momentum you feel you might have gained from a strong finish this season?

How many of the players responsible for a strong finish will you be unable to keep due to the gross mismanagement of contract negotiations and its devastating effect on the salary cap?

Speaking of the salary cap, what will be the quality of the team's depth going into the 2025 season?

When the starters begin dropping like flies before the first play of the first preseason game, will the backups have the talent to perform almost to the same level as those they replaced so that the Cowboys can maintain their momentum from this current season's strong finish?

Drawing from the logic of a strong finish implying a strong beginning next year......are you predicting a very weak start next season if the Cowboy finish 2-3 or even1-4?

Have you ever thought about.....just not saying anything and let the Head Coach decide what the media does and does not need to know?

I think Jerry punting and mismanaging the off season had more to do with this crapfest of a season than anything else.

We carried over crappy ownership and management from last year into this year. All the things this franchise does poorly, were carried over from last year to this year. No changes and even worse, NO ATTEMPT to change. Ignorance or laziness, which was it ?

Jerry wants to keep McCarthy…firing him is another admission that Jerry was wrong. He will look for anyway to keep mm, not for excuses to fire him
