I'm the least homerish, least typical "Cowboys fan" you will find and I'm easily 100 times more reasonable and rational in my ability to analyze the Cowboys than you are. Namely because I don't have any hate for Jerry Jones. "The Cowboys have always been leading edge."...what a meaningless, dumb thing to say. What good is "leading edge"? Winning is what matters. It is ALL that matters.

Well if you have no "hate" for Jerry Jones then you obviously are glutton for punishment...I hate him for how he treated Tom Landry. That was enough for me to never forgive him no matter how many SB's he wins but that's just me....

Winning is ALL that matters and we havent done a lot of it in 10 years. By leading edge I mean, we used to define the league. We were always the team that defined what other teams were doing. Teams would have to counter us because we would design new schemes, new ideas of offense and defense. Now we are just an organization of followers and retreads. Even in the 90's we were innovative..young coaching staff, new ideas. It just seems to me we are stuck in the mud no matter who we draft or who we hire.

Thats the point ...... we all disagree on how the team is run ..... but people like this and BB and VA just want to complain and moan about the team no matter what.

Up until Ron Rivera actually interviewed Wade Phillips was pretty much the fan favorite. That people are supporting him still isn't a sign of homerish. I wouldn't expect you to realize this, though.

For the most part, Ron Rivera was just the "flavor of the day" that people jumped to when he interviewed. Basically the only argument for him is that he's young. Wow, that's just thrilling.

Yeah, helping restore the Bears defense to top 3 for two straight years is nothing.. all his players saying they love playing for him and he deserves to be a coach means nothing. But us getting someone elses trash (Buffalo/Denver) is great! wooohoo. Let me go celebrate mediocrity...At least Parcells had actually WON a playoff game before becomming our coach.

Whose defense were they running, Lovie's or Rivera's? No one really knows. You can't give credit to Rivera because you don't know.

And if people want to complain about Parcells's defensive ollapse, just look at the Bears. Their defense absolutely crumbled in the 2nd half of the season.

Yeah their defense sucked...they didn't make the Super Bowl with Grossman as their QB or beat the high powered Saints team or anything whom we lost to by quite an embarassing amount...get real...

I was really happy that Jerry was interviewing all the coaches he did but it was just a smokescreen to divert flack once he hired another "Best Buddy". Wade Phillips is an old man, friend of Jerry ala Switzer. The good ol boy club in full effect. Jerry used to be innovative now he's just "safe". I hope everyone is ready for a few more years of 9-7, 8-8..... Jerry has basically ruined our proud franchise because of his ego. Give it up old man, let your son take over so the fans won't continue to be disappointed anymore. You dont have it anymore Jerry. Your day has come and gone.

Their defense had one good game in the playoffs. In the weeks leading up to the playoffs they were completely collapsing. Rex Grossman actually stepped it up in the playoffs until the Super Bowl, when both Grossman and the defense sucked.
