He's so po'd that he made him a offer. Please. Jerry is a businessman and knows this is business. If Jerry didn't see this coming then he really must think these are his children or owns them.
He may have made the offer before the holdout.

Die...give Moore a chance. Most offenses aren’t as simplistic and one dimensional as Linehan. You have Linehan Stockholm syndrome, you’re scared of being without Zeke because we WERE so reliant on him but history shows SB winning teams don’t need a top paid, diva RB to succeed.
We aren’t the typical offense because of our QB skill set. Our struggles offensively are not all on OC which play calls were limited because of our QB.

Moore could possibly enhance but ultimately the surrounding talent and execution will enhance more than plays called.

But you are right, Super Bowl champs usually don’t have league leading rushers. They have an Elite QB or defense which we have neither.

The Fan reported that Jerry was completed caught off guard by the Zeke holdout and is severely ticked off.

They pointed to the amount of support the team had given settle in numerous off-field issues, including perhaps some we don't know about.

This could get pretty ugly.
he should be POed. Zeke hasn't been model citizen off the field and he is getting paid millions. he has been a knuckle head all along and now with two years left on his contract, he is holding out and he is trying to send a message that I am serious by gong to Cabo!!!! really going to Cabo....show you are serious about football and make a counter offer instead of saying, I am going to cabo….. I am now to a point that say, lets start fining him, hold him to the fines and play hard. he has no choice by to show up for the last 10 games else, he loses a year of accumulation..... Pittsburgh did it with bell and they were just fine....

He should be. Jerry stood by him and went to bat for him, then this. Elliott just isn't very sharp or is getting bad advice from his agent. Having Jerry in his corner Zeke would've been well taken care of at some point.

Please explain to me how Jerry stood by him? Do you honestly think Dallas was going to cut Zeke at that point? Every single team in any sport would have done what they did for Zeke. Which is appeal the decision. "Going to bat for him?" As in how? People are overblowing this narrative Dallas was somehow in his corner. I mean in the end, it didn't help at all. Still got suspended 6 games.

So then maybe the future isn't really now?
I’m hopeful our defense could become Elite and offense be above average. Our top 10 defense did after all carry us last year.

But a 22nd ranked offense isn’t going to be better without a 4th ranked rushing offense that helps keeps the defense off the field more.

You need to be great on one side of the ball and average to above average on the other side. We’re getting close on both sides of the equation .

Without Elliott we’ll be further away. His presence and production props up our QB, offense and defense.

Comes to light? That accident was reported the second it happened. A team rep coming to the scene is not out of the ordinary. You do realize he is suing Dallas, though right? But yes, keep posting threse misguided narratives. I am sure you were one to freak out because Zeke bumped into a guy causing him to fall.

Pittsburgh has a future HOF QB and they missed the playoffs.

Either extend Zeke or trade him. Having him sit out may make some fans feel like Dallas is winning but they'll be a lesser team.

I’d have to disagree with that.

Lol what?? This offense is 90% Zeke. They created this monster and now it is turning on them. They used Zeke as a 4th pick and 1st round picks on 3 of the 5 OL we have. I have always said that is way too much investment in trying to force an outdated scheme to work in a pass happy league where passing the ball is much more rewarding and easier than ever. And it has nothing to do with Dak. He was forced into an offense where he is so dependent on Zeke and the run game. It is the equivalent of thinking a dog would survive if you threw it out in the wild after making him so dependent on their owner. Of course this offense wil look like junk when you take away the main thing that makes it run.

They should have created a much better offense that focuses on the QB and his skillset. Dak is great when you have him make quick reads and get the ball out quick. But nope, they have him run the same junk where he has to stand in the pocket forever waiting for slow developing routes downfield.

We are on the brink of an elite defense. Sign Elliott and kiss that good bye.

He has all the leverage the offense runs through him.

DeMarco Murray had an 1800 yard season behind this line, Darren McFadden had a 1000 yard season behind this line and he wasn't even the starter thru the 1st 4 weeks of the season and he played the entire season without a QB, JJ knows any decent running back can do well behind this line. IMO Zeke has overplayed his hand, the time for him to hold out would have been before next season, the team picked up his 5th year option and it is guaranteed for injury so not holding out this season really wouldn't hurt Zeke, plus he is only 24 years old, there would still be a big deal waiting for him when he was 25, this kid has made all the wrong moves since the day he came into the NFL

Yes he is, I like Zeke, but he also has an elite offensive line.

They are no longer elite. Why was this run game so junk when Zeke was out in 2017? Why was it junk in 2015? I mean, same OL. Cowboys in the 90s also had an all world OL. Emmitt's backups were terrible just as Zeke's are. This offense bogs down to a halt when Zeke is off the field for the most part. RB definitely can definitely make an OL better. Nate Newton said this about Emmitt. You are assuming every RB is created equal. Doesn't matter how many holes the OL makes if the RB can't hit them at the right time at the right speed and then make more moves down the field. Too many people assume any spare part RB can run behind a good OL and look the same. Zeke is elite. Our backups are terrible.

Elliott is a key to our defense with controlling the clock.
Nonsense. Our O line is key to our defense controlling the clock. What happened in the Houston game last year, what about the first game against Washington, what about Tennessee, New Orleans? Was that Zeke having a bad game or the O line? I thought he was the answer and cure all for everything.

Really? We were the 2nd ranked run offense in 2017 averaging 135 yards per game and Alfred Morris averaged 4.8 yards per carry in Zeke's absense, oh and by the way Zeke only averaged 4.1 in 2017 and in 2015 Darren Mcfadden was an 1100 yard rusher (4.6 per carry) and he didn't start until week 5 when he replaced Joseph Randle, get your facts straight

I watched like 3 episodes of Big Brother was it bored me to death.

I actually got sucked in to Celebrity Big Brother for a while. Not proud of it
Proud to say I haven’t watched one minute of Big Brother and never seen a whole episode of Survivor.
