Jerry Jones has narcissistic vision and hearing. Jones attends practices. He listens to coaches and players. His brain ingests all the input and excretes almost nothing he saw or heard. His senses accept only what he believes justifies his general managership of his team.

In other words, Jones' superpowers are his Kryptonite.

Because Jerry doesn't know how to build a team. Jimmy Johnson did and ever since he left Jerry has built a team to sell merchandise but not win titles.

Actually, Garrett's priority when he first took over as coach was to rebuild the offensive line. He did a good job of it.

Jerry and dopey Stephen seem to be the only guys in the room that don't understand it.

No, it's not. Tyron is definitely not Top 5 at his position since he can't even stay healthy a whole season. It's been years since he stayed healthy a whole season. At least Zack Martin is legit Top 5 and healthy. Dak is definitely Top 8-10 and now healthy.

Problem is, I have this sinking feeling that Dak's going to sustain a very bad injury this year. Jerry clearly didn't get the warning with the leg injury in 2020 and last year. I think that leg injury might be the easiest injury Dak faces if Jerry doesn't do something to adjust for what happened with Tyron.

I honestly am concerned for Dak about his livelihood. He's playing for an owner who doesn't plan for disasters, and this team is primed for a disaster that could cost Dak a lot more than his leg injury in 2020 with how poorly protected he looks like he will be.

Yes, and I happily do it, partly because it's fun, and partly because it reps this team. Problem is, this team is becoming harder and harder to support every year. The only things I have that I can say, "Yes, because of this, we have a chance" is our defence and Dak. If not for this, I'd probably be feeling like it was 2001 all over again.

Dak is going to be running for his life!
We were one injury away from disaster and now you got it.

Yes, and I literally just did it this past week in my vacation spot of Seaside Heights NJ again. That said, Dak better have long term health insurance, because his livelihood is in serious trouble. It took a broken collarbone from Romo in 2010 for Jerry to learn that building an oline might be important. He didn't learn after Dak's leg. What is next for Dak might be very bad.

I mean cmon people does it really matter what jerry says about zeke? Is jerry going to cause issues in the locker room right before the season starts by throwing Zeke under the bus? No….jerry is not going to go on national TV and trash his running back.

I don’t love what he said but he did it in a way that props up both zeke and pollard. Now let’s see what happens.

I hope Dak does not get hurt.
But why have a franchise QB and then don't give him a proper oline ???

I haven't the foggiest. It's like buying a Lamborghini, but then getting shoddy insurance and having no clue how to drive the bloody thing. Eventually, you're going to destroy it, or someone is going to have to take it off of you as the car is clearly not riding properly. Jerry's had two very capable starting QBs since Aikman. But he always waits until it's too late to give them the protection they need and maintain it.

It's almost like he does not know how to GM ?

Seems Jerry is mad and sending a message to #4..........Who wouldn't be mad after being taken for over 200 million $.........Heck, he got 75 million just for last season.....Mama mia that's a lot of cheese!!!:omg:
He's only stating the obvious. It is football after all. If it is a message, it's to Kellen if anything. The last message you tried to interpret had us dumping Dak and rolling with the red rifle.

Kinda think the message from Jerry is clear......he doesn't believe he has a FRANCHISE QB so why bother investing(Coop for a 1st rounder) anymore?

Well, that's something we've all just learned haha. And the worst of it is that he seems fixated that the only way that an oline can be built is with 1st round picks. Rubbish! If you can find a franchise QB in the 4th, you can find adequate linemen there. Doug Free was a 4th round pick, and, other than penalties, was a decent OT. Instead of wasting second round picks on projects, he could've been using that round to find olinemen that slipped out of the first. Instead of Kelvin Joseph, he could've gotten a top olineman who just missed out on the first round. But no, he has to think he's clever, when all he's doing is driving Dak into a massive oak tree.

I think he does, but, just like with Romo, he has no bloody clue how to use him. Romo had the tools. Jerry didn't help him for a while and we know what happened. Dak has the tools. I know you disagree with this, but, I think he does. The problem is that, if you're QB hasn't got a lot of time to throw, then he's going to have to get rid of the ball more quickly and get hit a lot. One thing I've liked about Dak is that he does try to protect the ball, but the downside is he has to hold the ball a bit longer rather than sling it out. That's where I fear he's going to have a massive injury this year.

If you guys remember....our 2016 was a good year and we did basically go as zeke did. No wait...hang on there! Calm down.

It's true...we wont; see a 2016 zeke ever again. We don;t have too....he can still be effective and deadly...especially moving chains in the tough yards and time of possession. Keep the defense off the field!

It is also true...you GOT to have an offensive line. It's true for every RB. You have GOT to be able to run up the middle.

We were are best in the Dak years with a healthy Zeke.....AND O-line.

I say we go as the o-line goes but have some discernment on what's zeke's fault and what isn't. When he has to sidestep right out the gate...that's a negatory there. HE can protect our precious dak, still good in the passing game, especially as a Dak bailout. Cut zeke some slack I mean he's here anyway....you gonna be a miserable peach about it ALL year long?

Jerry...it is indeed the oline.
