Yeah, definitely on board. Just pick the best guy at our spot.

Flowers is 20 and would be a beast at RT on this team. I wouldn't be mad with Erving. He's a swiss army knife, but his best position is C. Will be somebody's Pouncy.

I want Flowers to be a Cowboy badly. He is a beast and would give Dallas the final piece to the puzzle on the offense.

Dallas would continue to dominate the line of scrimmage.

Every position is up for grabs in the 1st round. The Cowboys seem to make concerted efforts to pick the best guy available at his position in the first round.

I hope it's an OT, so that the Parnell vs Free threads go can away.

I would love it big-time if La'el Collins slid down to us. I don't think he will but he would be terrific value at 27.

Collins is a mauler in the run game. He's aggressive and plays with a defensive mentality like Erik Williams did at RT.

If Collins is there, I would be thrilled with the pick at RT. He would enhance the OL's mean, physical nature.

It is going to take the draft forever to get here...

My thoughts exactly. Sign me up for an economical start to a ten year quality offensive line. That would leave Leary to fulfill his upside, completely.

I never stated that Dallas was set at the cornerback position. You are assuming.

If a talented WR, DE or RT drops to them I prefer the organization to pull the trigger over selecting a cornerback.

You basically eliminated the CB position in your post.

as long as their first pick isn't a TE or QB, I won't be upset...of course I would prefer BDPA (defensive) but I am not opposed to the best guy regardless of 20 positions on the field...I do like that they have gotten the best position player in the last several drafts, so I hope that continues if it is possible (ie: Smith best T, fred best center, martin best G, dez best WR, etc)

I believe this, and if faced with only quality offensive players, Dallas will try to move down. However, if the trade down deal is a rip off, (like last year ) the Cowboys will be forced to stay put. That's why its not just a smokescreen.

If there are only 1 or 2 players remaining with a 1st round grade I don't think they will trade down. I think they might have learned a lesson back in 2009 when they passed on drafting the 1 remaining player that they had ranked as a 1st round talent (LeSean McCoy) because they already had Felix and Barber.

BPA by tier groups.
But if we have a dlineman and an olineman both available in the same tier in RD 1, I'm going dline.

If the BPA is clearly a lineman though (like last year), well, take the man and enjoy the benefits. The only other option is if there's a fair value trade down

You basically eliminated the CB position in your post.

You stated this "Since when are the Cowboys set at CB?"

I never stated or implied that the Cowboys are set at CB. Lets stay consistent.

I did state that I don't want a CB in the first round. But that has nothing to do with the Cowboys being set at the position.
