Yep. Good front offices improve their teams. But our front office is also the ownership, so they have much more on their plate that is more important. Also got to schedule all the year around events at the stadium. Making money is obviously the most important thing for owners. So they will focus on that more than measly front office moves.
I'm just not sure why we went out and made that big move in 2018 to get Cooper while we had a losing record and looked dead vs trying to strengthen a 4-2 team who is still very much alive. To at the very least, keep pace with what the Eagles and Niners have did. And after we saw how weak we looked against SF, we need to beef up this team.
And don't tell me the draft picks are too valuable to lose, you can get really good players for mid round picks, something this team isn't good at anyways.
