Stuck with Jerry Jones and Mark Cuban, my two least favorite owners in all of sports for my two favorite teams in all of sports.
Howie Roseman never played or coached football at any level in his entire life. Playing football does not provide the expertise required to manage a contemporary NFL organization. If you’re suggesting Jerry Jones is a capable General Manager of an NFL franchise than you have to be saying the Dallas Cowboys’ post season difficulties for the past 20+ seasons are entirely the result of his efforts.
We want to be surprised. Trust me.I have a feeling that a lot of you guys are going to be surprised. The Cowboys will make a deal or 2
Cuban is a bad human being as well... and from what I hear, Jerry is a baddie. I have the same issue my friend. Its a luv hate thing.Stuck with Jerry Jones and Mark Cuban, my two least favorite owners in all of sports for my two favorite teams in all of sports.
Edit, also:
that actually does not make sense. Jerry is at every game home and away, he gets excited when they win, bummed out when they lose.Jerry sleeps well at night because even as he sleeps, hes making millions in business ventures, team merch, ticket sales, what have u. What motivation does he have to better the team when its already the top-rated sports franchise in the world? Thats a big conundrum. Its all a carnival act to him as far as pretending to wanna win a SB and such. He has fun with it like a Hobby.
The point is the amount of football he knows compared to the average fan and the fact that he’s inserted himself as GM of the team means he is infinitely more responsible the the Cowboys’ post-season struggles than any fan. So it is fair for fans to criticize him whenever the spirit moves them because the problems are a result of his efforts, not the fans’. What the fans don’t know about football or running a NFL franchise does not hinder the Dallas Cowboys organization. The same cannot be said for Jerry Jones. What Jerry Jones is unable, unwilling, or just too stupid to do is the Cowboys’ problem. Fans may not know as much about football as he does, but they certainly know he is a poor NFL General Manager. For god’s sake a blind man is able to see it.Show me where I said playing football was a mandatory pre-requisite to being an nfl executive? I didn’t. I said it helps immensely and it does. I’ve also mentioned several times that roseman is one of the best in the business if not the best. He also spent 10 years with the eagles organization before he was made head guy in charge learning the business top to bottom.
I simply said that Jerry knows more about football than most people here and he does. He played the game at close to the highest level which does nothing but help him and he’s been in the business for decades and has multiple super bowl rings to show for it. The cowboys also of late (last decade or so) have been a well run organization even if it’s not to the standard us as fans want.

LOL. Man you really must work for the organization. I am convinced. The Titans would. Keep an eye on Henry.
YupRecognizing you’re not the best team in the conference while also saying you have no real interest in improving the team….that about sums up the last 25 years of the Dallas Cowboys.
