They don’t have a different view.

They just don’t have infinite job security like our FO does. When there is no accountability there is no need to improve at your job.
that is actually a terrific point and likely spot on..what's gonna happen when DH gets traded? Is the old man going to be quoted "We thought we were in on Henry, but couldn't give up as much as the Titans were asking."? Or will it be "We don't make phone calls on trades, and the Titans didn't pick up the phone to call me about him, but if they did we would have been interested."?

Is there any personnel or managerial guy in the NFL who takes Jerry’s gibberish seriously? I don’t see how Jerry believes the Cowboys are in the upper echelon when they lost not only to SF, but to that woeful AZ as well; and haven’t played the Eagles, Dolphins, Bills or Seahawks.
Jerry needs to lose the power of speech

I wonder one day if they could let the fans do interviews as jerry during this time of the year, oh it would be comical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We would all know what to say lol
Jerry would never agree to do that. He knows what the fans think about him and Stephen and would never open himself up to the barrage of hate that would certainly be thrown at him. He would take the cowards way out.

“The initiation of an opportunity to make a trade at this time that would help us principally has to start over on the other end. I like where we are with our personnel today.” - da Jerruh

I so hate this.

This doesn't surprise me too much. Dallas likes to build through the draft and they have already traded away their Round 4 (Trey Lance), Round 5 (Eric Scott), and Round 6 (Brandin Cooks) picks for 2024. That leaves them with picks in rounds 1, 2, 3, and 7 with possibly two 6th round comp picks (McGovern and Schultz). 2 comp picks at he end of round 6 are really 2 extra 7th round picks.

Philly had a big need in improving there secondary and went out and got an All Pro. We really not even gonna do a Hankins level trade to shore up RB or CB? We deserve our inevitable Divisional round loss if thats how we run the team.

I am pretty sure a certain GM of a certain team leading our division wouldn't wait for people to call him to try to improve the club.

There is little doubt Jerry is not being proactive here.

In a perfect world every gm would wait for the other team to call offering players bc it immediately gives leverage to the team taking the call…secondly, you are doing exactly what my post said people shouldn’t and taking what Jerry says publicly as gospel and fact.

In the words of bill parcells “considered yourself sucked”

CB? No. They have Izzy and Wright
RB? Not much out there. You could’ve signed Cam Akers for no picks and passed

Why in the world did we trade a pick for Eric Scott? Eric Frickin' Scott. Is he even still on the team?

No owner is going to call Jerry Jones for any offers because Jerry is too prideful and only tries to run things his way. Where as GMs like Howie can admit that his team has a weakness which needs to be addressed and he'll do whatever it takes to fix it.

You mean admitting the team had a weakness and trading for Gilmore ? Or a weakness at wr and trading for cooks? Or bringing in Hankins last year at the deadline. You guys have an inferiority complex for the eagles here and I get it roseman is one of, if not the best gm in the league but you are the fool taking what Jerry’s says on the radio as verbatim and fact,

Jerry doesn't care about winning. So this shouldn't surprise anyone.

He even admits his team isn't on the same level as Philthy or SF yet still won't lift a finger to improve the roster. F this dude....
His goal is to be relevant winning is not part of the bundle.
