Jerry is right, they are a better team.

The OL playing much better. The WR's not looking as bad as what many thought. Though I wish they can get more YAC. Seems the get tackled pretty quickly.
Running game is improving. I think they are still trying to find the right mix with Zeke and Tony. But Zeke has played hard and looked pretty good the last 2 games. Pollard getting some longer runs in.

Defense will just get better. Need to get more turnovers like last season. Still work on the run defense some.

When the ball takes so long to reach them, by the time they get it the defense is on them. That's part of the lack of YAC.

Jerry just applied the pressure for Dak to elevate this team whether he intended to do that or not. With the defense playing as well as it has been and the offensive line playing better than expected, all eyes will be on Dak going forward.

I.E..... Dak, no more freaking excuses., put up or shut up; we're paying you $40m now play like you are worth it.

Reports are that he could not practice the week of the Eagle game which is why he didn't play. So, this week he is practicing and able to grip a football......... but we don't NEED him against the Lions. Why risk him in a game that Cooper Rush should be able to win? Let him have 2 solid weeks of practice to get his timing back and his thumb stronger.

Maybe because he can make a lot of mistakes and still possibly win?

I still can't imagine that Jerry hasn't already locked in an excuse for Dak if he comes back and looks bad. It will just be that he's not 100% and wait until next year. But if Jerry is talking up the rest of the team, maybe not.

I'm sure that most of us have been waiting like forever for Dak to get the kind of help from the offense and the defense to generously support him. No doubt, he'll appreciate it as our QB. Of course, the same is true for us, as fans. Whether that includes a deep playoff run or even more, we'll see.

Jerry invested $160M into signing Dak and just watched Cooper Rush assist the team to a 4-1 record during Dak's injury....and Jerry also encouraged a QB controversy so this isn't about people's Dak narratives but rather the owner himself looking directly at Dak and asking him to show he was worth the contract.

Anybody that understands football knows Cowboys are either 5-0 in that stretch with Dak or easily 4-1.
