Wow. I am blushing. So many people in this thread mentioning my name when I am not even around, lol.
I love this report too.
It's from Rotoworld who got it from John Clayton and yet I see nothing on ESPN's homepage or the Dallas Morning News or CNNSI or FoxSports or PFT or DallasCowboys.com or NFL.com or CBSSportsline.com...
But the TFC is in here like Jerry Jones came out in a press conference today and announced this to the world.
As if this would not be the #1 sports story running all over right now.
And I think Clayton has a blog over at ESPN. Here's today's entry...
Rogers presents problem for Browns

The Browns definitely have a problem with defensive tackle Shaun Rogers. Through his agent, he informed the Browns he doesn't want the $5 million in roster and option bonuses to stay in Cleveland. He wants out. According to a source, Rogers wanted to have a sit-down with head coach Eric Mangini but was told Mangini would meet with the team as a whole March 16 when the offseason program begins. There would be no individual meetings. The team controls the option, so if it pays the money, he will remain a Brown. Rogers signed a five-year, $37.8 million extension last season.
Coles to Miami? Laveranues Coles gave up $6 million in guaranteed money to leave the New York Jets. Coles was entering the final year of his contract but wanted out. The Jets offered to void his contract as long as he gave up the guarantee. Don't be surprised if he ends up with Chad Pennington in Miami.
Crowder's decision: Channing Crowder's willingness to take what is believed to be a three-year contract speeded up the process of getting a deal done with the Dolphins. His decision to stay in Miami will have a major impact on the inside linebacker market.
Cover 2 done in Tampa: The Bucs' release of linebackers Derrick Brooks and Cato June signifies the end of the Cover 2 defense in Tampa Bay. With Monte Kiffin gone as defensive coordinator, the Bucs are going to a different scheme. Defensive coordinator Jim Bates plans to install a bigger, more physical defense. The Cover 2 relies more on quickness than bulk. Bates likes big linebackers and big defensive linemen. Brooks was considered the best weakside linebacker to play the Cover 2.

Hmmmm. I guess he forget to add the blurb about Jerry telling him that T.O. was definitely coming back this season, lol.
I guess he also forgot to mention this conversation he had with Jerry when he was on Football Tonight right around the time this report came out from rotoworld...
http://sports.espn.go.com/stations/player?context=audio&id=3935222
So he came on to talk about the Bucs, Lavernius Coles, Brandon Jacobs, Bart Scott and McNabb - But he didn't have it in his mind to metion that he has the latest and greatest update in the universe about the most talked about sports story of the last month?
Listen. I know you guys in the TFC love the guy. And I know you love CZ.
But can you at least do a little looking around before you make ***** out of yourselves by going off a Rotoworld report that drops at 6:55 eastern tonight based on something Clayton said like two weeks ago.
And can someone tell Clayton that the Cowboys aren't interested in Clancy Pendergast like he said they were on February 11th, lol...
http://insider.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?name=clayton_john
Cowboys target Pendergast: Although no interview is scheduled yet, there remains a good chance former Cardinals defensive coordinator
Clancy Pendergast will end up with the Dallas Cowboys.
Wade Phillips is interested in adding Pendergast to the staff. First, Phillips has to see if the money is there to add Pendergast. The plan next season is for Phillips to call Dallas' defensive plays, but the team hasn't replaced departed defensive coordinator
Brian Stewart.

:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:
This place cracks me up sometimes.
Half the people on here accuse the media of making stuff up about Terrell Owens when it shows him in a negative light.
But then when rotoworld comes up with a headline that makes those same people happy they run with it like Jerry called them at home to give them the info.
It's just silly.
