jerry's down to 495 coaches that can win with him as the gm. long gone are switzer, chan, campo, parcells, and soon to be departed garrett. next coach up.

So you dont dispute what I said as being true. There are a handful of coaches that could do what JG did the last 3 seasons. We will not see it this season though....JJ has saw to that.

Cherry-picked evidence is cherry-picked. When you assess a coach, you’re looking at his aggregate record.

Or you can be pissed about it? But have at it. Its all kicks and giggles. I get it. Wasn't trying to be a party pooper I just can't sit through it. The real joke is on us that supports this product. We are the jokes.

That’s very true.

And I would not for a second tell you that you don’t have every right to be pissed.

We all do.

You should have left that one out. They finished 9-7 (and missed the playoffs) after that absolutely stunning 6-0 victory over the Philly 3rd and 4th string. Did you forget Philly rested nearly their entire team?

Yep, that was one helluva coaching job in that game.
No one expected us to have a winning record at all because Zeke at that time was truly the straw that stirred the cup

Own & GM the team. The public display to the media doesn't help the team and definitely do not help the coaches specifically JG.

JG was one of the best young minds sought after by many many teams before OC of the Cowboys. Played under some great coaching minds and coached under living legends. Thats one of the reasons that JG was always able to rally teams mid season and why players never seemed to quit on him. Some how some way JJ has stripped Jason of all of that experience and literally made JG a shell of himself this year.

This is the same coach that took a rookie QB to a 13-3 record after losing his MVP caliber QB a couple of weeks before the season started. This is the same coach that dealt with a looming and then eventual 6 game suspension of the teams best player and still had a winning season. This the same coach that started a season 3-5 and led a team to a playoff birth and a victory over a well coached team and a MVP level QB.

What happened Thanksgiving 2019 is we saw JG get outside of himself....he didn't have confidence....he made coaching decisions that didn't make sense even when they worked. Jerry did this by making a circus after a 4 point lost to the greatest coach that ever lived. For the first time you could clearly tell that it affected JG; it is not an assumption it was obvious. So obvious that the players, the leaders on the team had to see it as well. Other GMs saw it to and while other teams may not have a Jerry Jones they have a media. If JG doesn't shock the world and turn this season around he may never be a head coach in the NFL again and he can thank Jerry for that.
Very passionate post for JG.

I have followed this team for 50 years.

Never seen Jerrah go as far as this season to give his coach enough to win.

At some point Garrett has to get it done or he is gone.

That time is now.

10 years is 5 years too much.

The fans need to start singing

"Goodbye Jason..Goodbye Jason.. it's time to leave you now.."

Like the Giants fans did to get rid of Allie Sherman decades ago. He was HC in NY at the time.

He was dismissed shortly after.

Let's get to singing.

Jerry Jones ruined Garrett by fast tracking him in the first place. Garrett should have been going through the ranks under some successful coaching tree/trees gaining experience and learning the game from a coaching perspective.

If Kellen Moore magically gets the HC job or Witten, we're going to have the same exact problem. These guys NEED EXPERIENCE, especially when it comes to playing the higher echelon teams. There is certain knowledge that you only get through experience, and no matter how smart you are, you simply won't be able to figure this out unless you go through it firsthand.

I can see how JJ’s criticism affected him this week, that being said he’s gone 9 1/2 years with barely any criticism. At some point you have to grab your crotch as a grown man and understand what comes with being HC of the Dallas Cowboys.

Garrett has made way too many mistakes for anyone to feel bad for him. Not to mention him leaking info that he would want to coach for the NYG. That was downright slimey

We have NEVER seen JG over come adversity during a season unless you count the last 3 seasons. 2019 Jason will not overcome this....of course I hope he does.

Garrett is not a good coach. He does things in game that HAVE ZERO TO DO with Jones. I mean are you really arguing that it's Jerry Jones that prevents Garrett from still not understanding how to work a clock before the half or end of the game, even after 9 years?

You are embarrassing yourself. It's time to just admit reality. Garrett is, at best, an average coach and not a guy that can take a team to a SB. There's no shame in admitting what is pretty obvious at this point.

what he said should've been done in private.
he....as usual....made it worse.
he.....as usual.....contributed as much or more than anyone else to his feelings of frustration.
you hired him.
you stuck by him.
YOU are why you feel frustrated.
shut-up.....and get out of the way.
but.....that's not gonna happen anytime soon.
