More lip service. Remember when he wasnt going to cut TO? Then a while later he cuts him at a restaraunt using a covktsil napkin to illistrate his point. This guy is a modern day Mr Magoo.
 
Jimmy Johnson said a few years ago on the network Sunday pregame show that "Jerry does like to admit that he is wrong." I think there is quite a bit of evidence to back up Jimmy's statement. First hanging with Jason Garrett for 9.5 years before ending that. Second failing to admit that letting Jimmy himself slip away due to the egos involved coupled with being so silly stubborn about Jim's ROH thing. And I fear that the Dak Prescott saga is yet another example. A good leader/manager must own his mistakes to have credibility and Jones seems to fail to do that.
 
On one hand, seems like nothing more than politically correct speak. You can't slander your players in the media.

On the other hand, this is Jerry we are talking about. I'm sure he is trying to convince himself Dak is the guy, and well, this is why we're at where we're at today with this team.
 
Agree. Hopefully the first part of your statement is true. Jerry just being politically correct but the second part is where I start to worry. Jerry is stubborn and Iv feel like he will extend Dak just to prove his point.
 
You don't throw your QB or team under the bus, but you do SOMETHING. "We're looking on ways to improve our team. We see some areas we can get better."

He wasn't specific but yes there's definitely something wrong with him. His ego is so fragile that he would rather lose than win with a head coach who has a backbone.
