What disturbs me about this draft is how Jerry's fingerprints are all over it. The project at safety, the early/mid round CB, the tight end to continue trying to force a system that your coach can't implement.

I think you have ask what it means to say they were rated in the top 30 on "our board." It doesn't mean that they had them rated as the top 30 players in the draft. Just the top 30 that they are looking at for this team. Probably no qbs on that board, for example. Are they looking at drafting someone to compete with Lee or Bruce with a first round pick? It just seems that Jerry could say they were this high on our board without being dishonest or without suggesting that our scouts are incompetent.
