The NFL could save face, time and whole lotta money if they offered 2 games for General Misconduct and not DV...... that would be too good to refuse without any charges or convictions...... at least GHardy had that preliminary Bench trial they could hide behind

It's not going to happen, and honestly, it's probably best that it doesn't. This needs to go to court so people can see just how incompetent, self serving, arrogant, and reckless the NFL has become when trying to deal with DV. This is bigger than Zeke now.

Don't need a charge or conviction in a court of law, this is a personal conduct detrimental to the league penalty for which the punishment is 6 games......and you could face the same type of punishment where you work.....

If there is no proof i would sue my employer too. This is all bases on the dv. Not the st pattys day or bar fight. So I'd sue the hell out them too

BS...... the CBA is always overturned and challenged

I've said it before, FACTS of the case won't be anywhere near a court room...NFLPA will only try for some injunction to delay the suspension....He's going to be suspended, whether it's 6 or 4 or whatever games, period end of story!

I hope he fights this tooth and nail. We as fans have a reasonable expectation that suspensions should only happen when there's proof of a wrong doing. I don't buy the arguments that it's their business and they can do whatever they want. I don't believe any business has the right to punish an employee for something the person didn't do. This woman said flat-out she was out to ruin Zeke's life. That's a smoking gun that she's making **** up just to hurt him. If we keep players off the field based on totally unsupported accusations by someone with an ax to grind, we're hurting the sport. Goodell deserves to be fired over this. He's allowing an injustice.

Honest question: If Zeke is totally innocent, why hasn't he sued the girl for libel/slander?

Time, money, doesn't want to go through discovery and civil suit process.

but they didn't just say it was 'conduct detrimental' and leave it at that. They said they believed that Zeke abused her. That's a whole different animal IMO.
