Extend Garrett too. Have a two for one presser, all about how much anticipation you have for the future.

Dak Jerry Jason, the new triplets?

If someone would hold Jerry Jones down and tape his mouth shut with Duct Tape, I would buy the company that makes Duct Tape. Or glue his mouth shut with Gorilla Glue and I'll buy that company. For years I've wished that Jones would just shut the ________ up. My God. Enough! I hope I'm still alive when the Cowboys win their next championship 40 years from now.

Every QB that is drafted is an experiment and you think any bloke we draft is going to be better than Dak with the current coaching staff?

You think Mahomes would be this lethal as the QB of the Cowboys with Garrett and Lineham calling his plays?

At the end of the day you are a product of your own environment and currently ours is a waste disposal facility.

True we need better coaching.

And no I don't think Mahomes would be as good with us as he is with KC. But that still doesn't take away from the fact he'd be better than Dak, as would quite a few of the other young prospects. It's not like they are all the same and Dak would be where Mahomes, Goff, Wentz, etc are if he were on their teams now.

Hahhhahhhahhahhah......I know y'all mad lol.

Even though it means nothing. The Cowboys have a late 4th rounder and minimal cash invested into Dak. They could easily get rid of him just like the 49ers got rid of Kapernick and the Commanders got rid of RGIII.

Yes... yes, actually he would be an elite QB even in our offense. One could even argue Mahomes is a better fit for a Jason Garrett type offense than Dak is.

Yeah well JJ is delusional about a lot of things. He was delusional about Romo. He was delusional about Witten. He was delusional about Dez. All are gone. If Jerry had his say Dez would still be here.

Burn it all down

That can't happen fast enough....this thing is rotten to the core w/ the Jones cancer. No coach could ever come in here and turn it around. We've seen one of the best come in here (Parcells)....and he couldn't finish the job because Jerry meddled.

It's an impossible situation to have success.

If Jerry really cares about the Cowboys..he will sell. But he doesn't. He would rather make money off the team. Win or lose....this team is a cash cow....and he will never be satisfied.

I mean...seriously...how much is enough Jerry? Your on par w/ the slime bag wall street jerkoffs. That's your legacy...and it's never gonna change for what you have put this fanbase through.

Do us all a favor..and just go away....and take that fricken monstrosity of a video screen with you.

He could try for once in his life just keeping his mouth shut. I don't think he understands the concept that sometimes you're better off just not commenting. I get that maybe, despite poor play, you might give Dak the chance to improve by the end of the season and then decide whether to go with him or draft someone. Jones seems to think he has to prove with his mouth right now that Dak's the man for the future. But you can't prove that by flapping your mouth. That will be proved or disproved on the field. Right now the play on the field is disproving it. Most of us have an instinct that tells us when we're better off keeping our mouths shut. You're dating some hot new girl and her dad is babbling on with some inane and pathetic political ideas -- keep your mouth shut. Your boss is upset and letting off steam, but will be fine in a minute if he can just vent -- keep your mouth shut. Your team probably has the wrong quarterback, but you're stuck with him till the end of the season when you can make some moves -- keep your mouth shut.

Why doesn't Jones have the "keep your mouth shut" instinct that most of us have? Do you lose that when you get super rich or something?

I'm not saying dak's the answer. However i'd love to see what he could do with a creative offensive coordinator type. I just think what he could do if you paired him with a sean peyton or andy reid. Right now he's in the most simplistic offense ever and up until last game didn't really have any weapons.

I'm not saying you extend dak, i think thats ridiculous. However i think he has enough control of the offense to warrant looking at what he could do with coaches that don't call plays out of the Offense for dummies book. Give him one more year, works it works. If it doesn't were gonna suck anyway and we draft our qb the year after next.

For all the "Dak is the problem" guys... You may very well be right but my question to you, who is coaching him? Who is helping him get better?

Jason Garrett? Scott Linehan? Kellen Moore? What's their history with developing NFL-caliber quarterbacks? What have they done to make you think they've given Dak all of the tools and knowledge he needs to develop and Dak just can't figure it out?

Throw in the the celebrity-worshiping and zero-accountability atmosphere that Jerry created here and I don't see any processes in place that foster development for Dak (or any other QB for that matter).

Dak has real issues. He holds onto the ball too long, fails to see wide open receivers, forces things, etc. Who's doing anything about it?

Good points, the story could've been much different had the FO and Coaching let the PRO QB play when he came back healthy and ready and have the 4th rounder QB watch and learn for a couple of seasons, then let the PRO QB retire the right way and have the developed QB take the Team. but we know the history...

For all the "Dakota is the Future" guys , in 2016 I didn't read anyone questioning the same Coaching Staff and demanding Dakota to get help and "be better", everybody were claiming Dakota was the future and he was ready to take... no..no… no... to LEAD the Team. Fast forward 2018 he is not ready and he needs help and development? So we benched an experienced PRO QB who was ready to compete for his job, in favor of a - now all of the sudden - inexperienced, crude, inaccurate, can't read defenses, "needs development" QB? and in the process we lost a future HOF TE and the #1 WR. The cost has been too much and yet there are some who demand to "invest" more on this useless QB.

Now that the league has figured Dakota the results are everybody's fault but Dakota's. Some talk about Dak's "great" leadership.... I see a Team demoralized, failing and not even caring or respecting the Star, if that's how leadership works then yes, Dakota is LEADING the Team.... to a losing season and complete failure. Accountability must start with the QB, bench that clown for life, then sweep the Coaching staff immediately after, rebuild in 2019 move on from the pipe dream of 2016.

Did the Admin restore the posts from 2017? just wondering.....

Seriously though, How many "one more year" will this useless QB get?, somebody questioned in Tweeter that maybe the "simplistic" offensive plays are called because that's all Dak can read, if he can't read defenses he can't read complex WR routes, that's an interesting way of viewing the play calling situation.
