I laughed the other day when the headline was something like "Kaepernick finally signs with someone".....freakin' book deal....that moron probably can't even read
Where is a certain poster who likes to butt into my business, to respond to trash like this? Oh, of course

His last year in San Fran he had a QB rating of 91 with 16 TDs and 4 interceptions. To suggest he was not productive is a reach. Those numbers aren't eye popping but certainly better than what you'd get out of the likes of Matt McGloin, Brandon Weeden, etc., right?

He also had a game where he threw for like 6 yards and was benched....

Latest On Colin Kaepernick
November 3rd, 2017 at 12:07pm CST by Zach Links
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Patriots owner Robert Kraft, and Texans owner Bob McNair, amongst others, will be deposed and asked to turn over all cell phone records and emails in relation to the Colin Kaepernick collusion case against the NFL, a league source tells ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter (Facebook link). Seahawks coach Pete Carroll and owner 49ers Jed York are also among those on the deposition list, Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports (Twitter link) hears.

Other owners, team officials, and league officials may also be deposed, but those are the individuals confirmed for now.

Here’s more on Kaepernick:

  • Colin Kaepernick’s attorney believes that the quarterback will sign with an NFL team soon. “I think within the next 10 days somebody will sign him,” Mark Geragos told Adam Carolla earlier this week (transcript via BleacherReport.com). “I think somebody’s gonna sign him. I think the NFL has to come to their senses, and realize every day that goes by just proves the collusion case even more.” Geragos may have confidence, but there’s no reason to expect a Kaepernick signing anytime soon. A potential spot opened up this week when Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a season-ending ACL tear, but Houston opted to sign Matt McGloin and T.J. Yates. For now, Tom Savage is the starter in Houston and there are no known plans for the team to audition Kaepernick.
  • NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart deferred to the NFLPA on the topic of having Kaepernick at the next meeting between players and owners (Twitter link via Ian Rapoport of NFL.com). “We’d welcome his participation, but that’s an issue for the players to determine,” he said.

No one said he was Tom Brady. But let's not act like he was some schlub who couldn't play.

And the hilariousness of trying to argue that stupidity when you see guys like Matt McGloin get picked up by teams makes it even funnier that people are trying to argue he wasn't good enough to get picked up by a team.

Sweet.

Now get me the stats of Matt McGloin, etc.

Also note that 2015 was a worse season than 2016, so no one should be surprised they included 2015 in the assessment to make it look like he was playing horribly when he was done in San Fran.

Honestly Im not a fan of any of this crap. I also at one time thought Kap was a great player then I watched him go to crap. The niners never shouldve kept him over Smith. That said Kap is good enough to be a back up and maybe be coached into more. Im not going to look at what he did in half a dozen games last year and decide hes better than a 2 currently. None the less if I had to choose between him and Kellen Moore Id go Kap. The question I cant answer is his locker room presence and the media storm of distraction it would create. worth it for a back up? I dunno.

As far as his beliefs Ive sadly gotten to the point I am trying to seperate how I feel about the players personally from the good of the team. The simple fact is I dont and never will "like" all of the personalities on the team or in the league. Its a blast rooting for Romo, Witten, Dak, and Lee for example but Im still going to root for the guys I dont really care for personally. Because ultimately I want Cowboy wins stacked on top of Cowboy wins. If that makes me a hypocrite so be it.

If I was a Texans fan I think Id want Kap right now instead of Savage. But then again how long before hed know the system well enough to be effective? There are alot of variables towards signing him at this point in the season.

As far as the entire issue goes its old and stale everyone has the right to thier own opinion no matter how stupid we think each other are. With that right also comes the consequences of our actions. We will never all get along. This board is a fantastic example of that. Hell we argue with one another like we arent even rooting for the same team.

He averaged less than 200 ypg in 2016 and less than 7 ypa.

Both absolutely pathetic in what has become a pass friendly league.

I’m pretty impartial on this whole issue but I do have a question... Does anyone know what his salary requirements are?

Who knows what kind of shape he's in, there was a pic last year floating around and he had the arms of a 12 year old girl

Pretty tough to prove collusion. I don't think the owners were calling each other saying not to sign Kaepernick.
They’re actually going to be reviewing phone records (texts) and emails from what I hear.

Funny that QB rating meant every damn thing in the world when it came to defending Romo and some of his gaffes but it doesn’t mean squat with Kaepernick.

You guys are hilarious

Hmmm,
Could it be that we are Cowboys fans and a bit biased?
Nah
