Jerry made mistake with Standridge Stadium - 6/9/09

The post was based on Crayton's comments.

So the judgement that Jerry made a mistake comes from that.

And the fact that we have a lot of players being held out of practice for 'precautionary reasons' who have leg problems. Plus the fact that I have seen a lot of guys slipping and falling on the turf.

But you keep on taking shots at me if it makes you feel better.

I hear people with low self esteem tend to do that.

The fields at VR are grass.

The new stadium has a turf field but it's much softer than this field at Standridge.

I don't think Crayton really thought this through before he said it. Most stadiums in the Metroplex that would be fit to house a Cowboys practice/minicamp are going to be field turf. I live in Wichita Falls, and the Cowboys would NEVER use this stadium to practice in, and it has field turf. It's all the rage now for high school stadiums to have it, especially nice ones. They can then host high school playoff games in December and rake in the bucks.

I bet Patrick doesn't realize that. And DC if you really are from NY, you probably didn't realize it either.

I had that one orignally, but I like how happy ray looks next to rowdy.


I forgot how many people hated rowdy, it's just some dude in a foam rubber suit to me.

perfect world image would be ray at the boat show catching trout, man that was the highlight of my boat show trips every year with my folks. Ray would pull trout out, and make bets with the kids that he could catch more than them. Good memories.

LOL, I found one, wish he was in his cowboys' gear but you can see the fish behind him in this one.
