No. However, there are plenty of people who might agree with you. You and they may believe what you wish but my original statement is still 100% true.

100% true? That he never had a chance?

He was part of the problem, huge contract, and only a stat eater. Never was a leader, and now he's on decline, but expects big bucks

I remember Broaddus just going off on Ware on Talking Cowboys one afternoon when Ware went up against a scrub tackle one-on-one basically the whole game and just got owned.

I think I was Bushrod who totally owned him, Broaddus was like in disbelief that Ware got shut down by a scrub.

How many times have other teams left tackles gone down before the game and we all lick our chops and then sunday rolls around and Ware does NOTHING...

I remember the exact situation you are referring to, but that isn't the only time. What I can't remember though is the last time DeMarcus Ware took over a game on defense.

He never had a chance to play for a championship while in Dallas. That's 100% true. Do you dispute this?

Clearly, you don't spend enough time on this board. That's rather obvious.

I have never said this. In fact, I encourage you to go back and read what I said about Ware in this thread.

Yeah because you have to say something to imply it.

Oh I never said I wanted to have sex with her, but all I did was talk about her body and how sexy she is

Don't agree, he could have been the leader we needed like ray Lewis or take a pay cut so we could get better talent around him.

Instead he ate cap space

LOL....

Is this your way of saying you can not admit that my statement was 100% true? No idea why you are diverting traffic with this last statement but stick to football.

Well, he did take a pay cut. He actually did accept less money in his previous contract negotiations. You don't think he was a leader? That's fine. Lots of very good, very successful Football players were not leaders.

That really doesn't mean much IMO but let me ask, what does any of this have to do with my original statement?

Yea, I think its just time to move on.

It probably is what is best for both parties..............we get the much needed cap room and Ware gets to go to a team that has a chance to win a title in the next year or two before he retires.

You said he never had a chance..... How do you know if he did things differently, and made guys around him better that he wouldn't?

You are trying to play the role of God with that statement. He never had a chance lol

Go play the lotto since you know so much.

He has never made more than 7.8m as a base salary. Why should they all of sudden pay him 12.75m? It's not really even a pay cut if he never made that much. His base salary was 6m last year.

Thats exactly my point on why, if i where him, I wouldn't take a paycut. I've been the best pass rusher in the league for the last 6-7 years and i've earned my pay.

I said this last year on my old forum. He is TOO SMALL to play DE in the NFL.

If he gets cut he will get picked up by a 34 team and be a stud.

lets see. He had a really big year in 2007 right? Did that get us anywhere? His second best year did we get anywhere? Just like with the QB if you do not have the whole team getting it done it don't happen.

Just stop

Please explain to us all how you know he never had a chance? And please don't say " well we haven't won yet"

While Ware was in Dallas, did he ever play for a Championship? It's a yes or no question. Just answer the question and stop all of this ridiculous crap you got going on here.

Just so we are real clear here, this is what I said, exactly:

I hope Ware does move on. I hope he gets picked up by a team like New England or Denver or somebody who has a chance to win a championship. He certainly never had the chance here.

You are begrudging the Dude the chance to get signed by a team who can compete for a title? Really?

Exactly, you said he never had a chance.....why not? Was he not maybe part of the problem? Sure he had great Years, Romo has had some as well. So you stop running from your original statement and tell us why he never had a chance.

And no obviously he hasn't, but he was part of the problem, accepting the losing. Talking big every off season about the atmosphere of the team, but was always wrong.

Well, I checked the record books and it said that the last time the Cowboys played for a Championship was in January of 1996. Now, since DeMarcus Ware was only 13 in January of 1996, playing for Auburn HS as a Freshman, my very keen powers of deduction quickly deduced that it would have been impossible for him to have played for a Championship, while in Dallas. Clearly, they have not had the opportunity while Ware has been a part of the team.

I know, makes your head spin right?

OK, well, now you are just making stuff up in your head. Look, you see him as part of the problem. That's fine. As for me, I'll take players like Ware, who in your eyes are part of the problem, any day of the week.

Yeah....we would lose or be losing. He's not up and talking wheather it's calmly or aggressive, he could have been our spark plug, instead he was just a nice pass rusher, who got a bunch of sacks.

That's cool, he's hof material. But he could have done more and not just accept the fact we lost or were losing
