It wasn't a good result, but you have to look at the stretch of games.

Ryan, Brees, Brady, Wilson, Eli, Bradford, and Winston. Yes, they should have pulled one or two out of that run, but the Cowboys were at a huge disadvantage because of the QBs involved.

Had they played Miami, Washington, Jets, Bills, etc, I think they come out much better. But they caught the tough run of games without Romo and Dez.

But I agree, they should not have gone 0-7.

We'll see how they fare vs Jets and Buffalo. I wouldn't expect a win in GB even w Romo to be honest so no expectations there.

Does the HC get credit for them being mentally tough when he tries to instill mental toughness on his team? I would say so.

You bolded what you consider the key words in phrases. I missed the word impress, esteem, or anything of the like and I fail to see how you get from what you quoted to 'Jones not impressed.'

What I think is that you aren't impressed and you are replacing Jerry's thoughts with your own. How novel. At least you got Risen's 'gf' to give you a like.

Disappointing win? What are you talking about? No one is disappointed about the win, but we're disappointed in the continuous blunders towards the end of football games.

See my response. I think is a GREAT description.

And, yes, many ARE upset with the win because many Cowboys fans wanted a higher draft choice.

True, but it was more of a shot towards the few on here who are outspoken about tanking. Couple that with the banner, it just got me frustrated.

I wanted that but somehow I was able to keep myself from being mad at them for winning. Amazing I know.

If you don't like being called out by the ownership, you're in quite the pickle. CZ's official position is what it is. Perhaps you might try getting over yourself, padawan.

You have to give credit to Garrett. At least the team is still fighting. And I am not a big Garrett fan.

I'm sorry, are you the owner of this site? No? Okay, then sit down.

No but I can read the top of the page. It's written in the top sticky and on the main banner.

if you think he made a mistake by calling two running plays, what should he of done?

taken a knee three times and kicked a field goal?

that would of been stupid! a touchdown gave us the worst case scenario of overtime. playing for the field goal would of created the possibility of losing in regulation.

the Princeton guy is so much smarter then all of you!

OT was not the worst case scenario. Pittsburg went for two earlier this season and converted leading to a win. The right move in FG range is to make Washington use their time outs and kick the FG with the most accurate kicker in the NFL. But even worse is that we ran a play on first down with 1 second left before the 2 minute warning and we didn't have to. I mean, these are just basic game management situations that a coach, as well as the players should know. We were in no hurray at that point.

In addition, the game and game management was being ridiculed by the MNF crew. They called it high school football and were laughing about it. It get's my gall up when Steve ******* Young belittles a team that used to take his lunch and batter the scumbag when we played in December/January. It's tough enough to win in this league when things are going your way and your QB is healthy. But damn if it isn't harder when your HC routinely blows basic game and clock management.

And yes, I know, I'll be labeled as a poor fan but then so is Jerry I guess because even he raised some questions.

You can read, good for you, but the Mods don't need any help from you defending the banner or them. Maybe you're auditioning in order to become a Mod, I don't know, but just mind your business unless I address you directly. Thanks in advance.

I'm not trying to moderate you. If you don't want me to talk in the threads here then you are going to be disappointed. If I make you mad then put me on ignore. I think it goes back to my central point but oh well.

Both 40 point games where won by 3 points.

There were 2 blowouts the entire weekend and one other game that was won by 14 points, what are going on about?

This is a very talented team the most talented in the division, to say otherwise shows an agenda IMO.

But please tell me whose rosters in the NFL who so much more talented than ours?

Are you kidding me??? The Skins makeshift DBa outplayed our all world DBa last night. The Skins swarmed the ball all night (2 strips & one robbery). We are no where near the ball even when it's deflected in the air begging to be picked.

BTW...I don't know how to spell ajinda.

Most NFL games are decided by a score or less. We've been blown out twice. Look at the other teams with bad records and worse rosters it is similar.

Sorry but losing close games 6 out of 8 times and getting blown out twice is not indicative of an overachieving team. romo was a big loss but this roster is better than many on the NFL.

I repectfully disagree.

I don't think you've made a single point yet, just more mindless typing which is typical coming from you.
