You make Dak play the first half Saturday with the same scrubs that Lance has to play with and see if he does any better.

He won't.

That's why you traded a first round pick in 2018 for Amari Cooper. Because Dak was looking HORRIBLE with NFL caliber WRs while Lance is having to play future gas station employees.

Trey Lance was the backup quarterback going into the 2024 season 359 days ago. It would not surprise me even Cooper Rush came to that conclusion last August too.

Raiders played their starters the first half. And most of the players in the 2nd half or at least 3rd quarter will make their roster.

So we need to wait another week to hear if Dak makes the team.

with that said, this is result of stupidity of Jerry. he traded a 4th. then he declined his 5th year option. then he had to give him a roster bonus, so he counts the same against the cap whether he is on the team or not, so essentially this is a cap decision, not a player decision

We were too aggressive in week one, MM set Trance up for failure.

Then were too conservative in week 2, making Trance look bad.

Week 1 was against scrubs and he struggled.

Week 2 was against starters, and you wanted MM to be more aggressive, after struggle against scrubs?
