We can't buy a crucial stop on defense is what we can't buy.


Good defense but not a dependable one.

They are not good. They are mediocre in the words of Richard Sherman. Maybe even below average.

We hardly blitz, take bad angles and then tackle poorly, can't stay in our gaps to stop the run, give 10 yard cushions to receivers and worst of all don't get turnovers.

That's exactly right, this is coaching! With this staff I have never thought to myself, we really out-coached the other team. It's a constant state of being behind the curve, when we should run, they pass; when they should pass, they run. I honestly think someone at VR reads forums like this one, just a hunch. It's an emotional response, but, that's why this place exists, to help deal with it.

He's the head coach. If a facet of the team fails, its also on him.

He wasted more than 30 seconds by not calling a timeout before the two-minute warning when we needed to give our offense time enough to score. If we had used our timeouts correctly, we might have had time to score a touchdown at the end instead of having to kick a field goal on FIRST DOWN from the Eagles' 26. The Eagles didn't stop us on that drive, the clock did -- and our poor use of our timeouts was the only reason.

Turnovers? How about stopping the same running play? How about having a secondary and LB'ers not tripping over each other? How about having a QB that doesn't throw the ball up like a wounded duck where it's either getting returned for six or getting bailed out by one of the top receivers in the game?

Jerry's blood is all over this mess - it's not his fault that Romo got hurt, but it sure as hades is his fault that we have no competent backup to somehow not drive the bus into oblivion.

Don't forget the same pick play that is run on us every single week. For some reason we can not figure out the pick play. And for some reason, the same reason, we never employ the pick play.

Why is Murray no longer a fumbler? He put the ball on the carpet with regularity early and late last year. He goes to Philly and he has only 1 fumble in half a season. And of course our defense didn't strip him although he was holding the ball like a load of bread at times.

because DeMarco Murray is not actually a fumbler. He fumbled so much last year because the Cowboys gave him too many carries.

That defense his final year had 10 TOs that with him as a HC, while Garrett gave the ball back 19 times... Now that defense can't produce anything on the TO front, whether it's Rob, Marinelli or Kiffen..

Hardy is trash as a person and player. I really don't want him around next year. If we have to put up with pictures of his beaten ex-girlfriend and all the drama throughout the week. We have to put up with answering questions as to why we would give this guy a chance after he did what he did. We have to put up with his character tarnishing the Cowboys' name. Then we should see him make plays and dominate the game. He wasn't going against 6 time pro bowl Peters, he was going against his backup. A back up. Hardy could not get to Bradford going against a back up.

Get this loser out of here. He's a loser in life and when you bring in losers, even talented losers, it hurts your team.

We need to purge this defense and I am all for getting rid of Hardy and his salary and his baggage and find someone else who can't get to the quarterback going up against a back up. We don't need to pay a guy 13 million to be a distraction AND be ineffective. We can find ineffective people with no baggage for vet minimum. Gregory and Hardy have not provided the impact that warrants putting up with their issues.

When I say purge the defense, I'm especially talking about the coaches.

Jerry saying that we couldn't buy a turnover is the best thing Jerry has said in about 15 years. It was honest, and it showed he's mad. Finally! Finally he's at his breaking point. Jerry go break some people, starting with your "coaches".
