Twitter: Jerry: We can't buy a turnover

it was in a tweet earlier, the Eagles has 3 and 16, 3 and 14 and 3 and 12 in the overtime drive due to Eagles penalties. And they converted all of them. Yeah, you don't buy turnovers, but your coaches are terrible.

Not a single team in this league benches their franchise QB when their season is "over"

Get it out of your heads, it's not happening.

I don't care what other teams do. It's irrelevant to me.
Tony is too valuable to put out there when the season is over. One more season injury and he's probably done. No need to risk him.

Imagine if Sean Payton came here and had his pick of QB in the draft. Pipe dream, but that would be interesting.

bet Sean Peyton, Bill Belcheat and other good coaches could figure it out.......I would clean house....and go get Hue Jackson as a head coach.....Garrett has tried for 5yrs to figure it out .......its time for Garrett to move on.

I couldn't agree more.

Truth said, we can only go as far as Romo takes us because the coaching staff isn't! Well I'm simply tired of tanking a whole season due to just 1injury.. Sean.P the timing couldn't of been so sweet..

That's because the red headed genius has proven time and time again he is no genius.

And I just realized that Jason Garret is the longest serving Cowboys HC since Tom Landry. I don't get the love affair the FO has with this guy. Every other HC was gone in four years or less, even the Big Tuna.

Marinelli is overrated. This defense needs an enima this off season. New DC, some influx of talent.

Wrong, the same thing happened under Zimmer and Philips.

Apart from the odd season this is what we get (although this year is particularly bad).

And why that is the case is anybody's guess. :(

Well, Jerry. Let's see. You need a running back, a number two receiver, new linebackers, new safeties, new corners, new defensive tackles, much better coaching...

Oh, and you need to start grooming a future quarterback. But, aside from all that, you're golden.

QB is top of that list, by a country mile.

It's not a guess. We have two mediocre to bad safeties, little talent at DT, some holes at LB and an average coordinator.

It's actually pretty easy to see.

Because half the defense was out those games. Let's keep switching defensive coordinators though. Getting rid of Rob Ryan sure did solve everything, right? How many scapegoats do we need to cover up the head coach?

I think most that say Marinelli isn't good would also agree that Garrett might need to go as well.

Even if your assessment of our talent is totally correct (and I don’t completely agree with it) we should be capable of more than four turnovers in eight games.

However my statement “and why that is the case is anybody’s guess” was directed towards the fact that no DC seems to be able to get our defense to generate turnovers on a regular basis.

we do not have any game changers on D. I thought Lawrence might be one, and Crawford and McClain.Lee is likely our best player on D and he is hurt too much.

Hardy has flashes but can disappear too. How about a strip sack someone?

Get a coach who can at least have his team in good physical condition, and for heavens sake, do not give Hardy a long term contract. Payton has done well in N O, Zimmer is looking good in Minny and what do we get, Gingerbread.
