Can you outlast Stephen? lol
Oh heck yeah he's fat I got him
That doesn't matter. We have Spaulding to look forward to right?
Romo is the one that is holding the team back. (for the realists)
Ask the "GM" he said itAm I weird? I like the organization and culture that we have built here. We have gone 8-8 with middling overall talent the last few years. Is that Garrett's fault? We've lost games we should have won. Sure. But we've always won games we should have lost.
And people call him a "trainee" coach but what does that even mean? Is every guy in the NFL supposed to have NFL coaching experience before he is hired. Logically that can't work and frankly im glad we aren't on the coach retread ferris wheel. Just as players grow into their jobs so too can a coach. Face it....just as there is not 32 elite NFL quarterbacks walking this Earth...there aren't 32 elite NFL coaches either. Why not try and develop guys? Both in player and coaching personnel.
Earlier this offseason there was a quote where Jason said something along the lines we need to play better as a team and we need to coach better as a staff than we did last year. And people were legitimately upset. Like admitting you need to be better at your job as a coach is a bad thing.

This thread is going to be pure gold. Jerry is a master troll.
He cares if he thinks it would affect the bottom line ($).
You guys do deserve a nice long extension for him. Since you were so patient with all the development. I can feel a 5 year extension coming as payback for us.
No he doesn't. I believe he thinks he has some potential but not to that extent. This is all about being able to control him and being comfortable with a head coach. He has a 20+ yr relationship with him and his family. He will NEVER be more comfortable working with a head coach.Jerry genuinely believes Jason is the next Bill Belichick, and is scared to death of making the same mistake Cleveland did when they fired him.
Not being glib, but totally serious.
If any of you have been around anyone who has shown signs of senility, this man has it.
No question.
