If you know the guy's just trying to sell you on something, you can take everything he says with a grain of salt. So it doesn't matter what Jerry says regarding Garrett.

It's in Jerry's best interest for the fans to feel confident in Garrett. Right? So why should pro-Garrett sentiments shock anyone? How is this even news?

Well, if you think its a "pro-Garrett" statement to say the only reason we are keeping him is because you (the fans) deserve something in return for having to suffer through all his rookie mistakes and learning, then I don't know what to say.

But I agree everything should be taken with a Grain of salt. But does that mean we can't have some fun with it?

He should have fired Garrett after his first loss, go get another coach that needs a job, and go around and around.
