Hey Bob. Once the hawks and commodes make their coaching decision, I’d like to see one of your content pieces lay out the calendar going forward for everyone. Just a suggestion.

I think that’s Jerry speak for still didn’t give Dak enough to carry him
That's what it is. I think JJ is saying "we are going to go all in" with Dak this season and see what he can do.

If nada...no extension soup for you.

"This is not a 'talk yourself into it,'" Jones said. "It obviously gives you a lot of things to consider and think about. Everybody has options. This is one I'm very comfortable with. I felt good during the year with the job that Mike was doing. The team was responding well. We were all disappointed that we didn't win that Green Bay game. We had visions of a lot better than that, we all did. But there are things there that we can take forward."

Rhetoric from fans following the decision to bring back McCarthy implied that without change from a coaching standpoint, there wouldn't be a change in on-field results, but Jones said he knows how to make an impact to better position the Cowboys next season in the playoffs.

"I know how to disrupt and understand disruption," he said. "I think that the nature of what we do with our roster decisions – the fact that we're here looking for help for this coming year at the Senior Bowl, the fact that we have free agency opportunities, the fact that we've got substantive decisions to make here on our roster as it pertains to the salary cap – that's enough disruption for me. If we get through all of those decisions, there will be a lot of disruption."
"I think you can look on all three phases and see that we've got room for improvement," he said. "The thing that I would emphasize more than anything is that Dak has room for improvement and not just the scheme around him, but Dak can improve. That's a big plus when you've been playing the game for seven years and, by assessment, have some room to get better in. I expect him to do it next year and the next year."

"I know how to disrupt and understand disruption," Yes, we've seen jerry disrupt things when he fired Jimmy...and for the past 29 years we've seen the disruption and destruction of the Dallas Cowboys...

You lost me at “ win with him”
Better get used to it for the next 3 to 5. Jerry said he loved how Dak played this year and he has room for getting even better:laugh:Move away from the edge.....But he did say we have to get under the contract. Jerry talk out his butt and then mouth. He says something -not say nothing.:facepalm:No way this guy got rich on his on. How can you be so clueless as a GM then so good at a business man. Something is a foot....Basically saying all in for K'Mart blu light deals....And he didn't say all in for free agency-he said all in maybe for guys still here  Jerry talks like a politician. You want answers but nothing is given to you but gibberish...

This is exactly what I am waiting for. If he did move on from Dak then I would take him more seriously, but he won't because that would mean he would have to take steps back and Jerry at his age is not taking any steps back. He is going to reload and comeback with the same players and coaches, for the most part and try this Championship thing all over again.

I think we all know how this is going to end.

Because Bellichick has been doing such a great job at all those things since Brady moved on?
Do you think for one minute that Brady would have won all those superbowls without Belichick? Give Bill credit for building those teams around Brady.

We are all so screwed as Dallas fans. I've watched this 3 times and still have "NO" idea what the hell he's talking about:facepalm: And the Dallas media SUCK!!!!!!!He ask "am I making sense" and none of those COWARDS have the gutts to say "NO"!!!! We will go as far as Dak takes us. They don't even say that with Mahomes. Why put everything on your q.b.????? Idiotic

So there you have it. Dak will be here next year and the year after.
We really are going to spend over a decade with this mental midget.

Just wait till we hit the championship game next year and the majority of people here will flip flop like the Dak poles after every game and think he's the next coming of Aikman

Then insert the mouth breathers that think since (x) quarterback made it further into the playoffs then (x) quarterback he's automatically makes him better lolz

Forum will explode
