"All in" means doubling down on Dak and bringing Quinn back because nobody wants him. Jerry is serious, people.
That sums up Jerry’s style. Tell the fan base, “I will do whatever it takes to win…unless of course it means I can’t play with my toy exactly the way I want.”The Jones are so desperate to keep Dallas in the national conversation that they would be willing to do anything except get out of the way.
So our outlook is another one and done courtesy of Mr MVP... way to give us fans no semblance of hope Jerry."Dak has done nothing to change my mind about any promise for the future. I think I've said that we will go as far as Dak takes us in the playoffs. Remember that. We will go as far as Dak takes us. And that is how far we went."
Dunn dunn duuuuuunnnnn!
Did the Cowboys miss the online continuing education course on winning playoff games? From 1966-1996: Cowboys won 32 playoff games in 31 seasons.
From 1997-2024: Cowboys won 4 playoff games in 28 seasons.
Any questions?
And the playoffs have been expanding!!!!!!!!!!!!From 1966-1996: Cowboys won 32 playoff games in 31 seasons.
From 1997-2024: Cowboys won 4 playoff games in 28 seasons.
Any questions?
We’re back baby!
The laws of physics could change, you never know.Jerry loooooooooves him some Dak-in-the-headlights.
‘Here we GOOOOOOO!’
Sure, Jerry… let’s try it one more time. Like Mike Fisher says - a marketing organization playing football as a side hustle.
Correction, since we are 19m over the cap now...we could clear about 70m in space, leaving more than 60m after cost of rookie pool. Still plenty to go all in with.Making cap space
Guys to cut:
Gallup - June 1st cut - $9.5m saved
Cooks - saves $4m - decent player but if you aren't going to use him on deep routes it's kind of pointless having him
Vander Esch - $2.1m - too many injuries, not trustworthy
Rush - $2.25m - might as well go with Lance as backup
Wright - $1.2m
Restructure or Extension:
Zach - $12.6m or $13.4m
Tank - $4.4m or $7m
Diggs -$7.9m
Steele - $4.9m
Wilson - $2.9m
Lamb extension - $13.4m
Lance extension - $3.4m
Dak - $21.9m or $26.2m
So,
$9.55m in regular cuts
$9.5m in June first cuts
$71.4m with only restructures or $79.1m with biggest additions between restructures and extensions.
We can make 90+m just from the above. The June 1st cut of Gallup covers the cost of the rookie pool and then some extra so more than $80 million to play with. You COULD go all in if you wanted.
Free agents
-Pollard, Gilmore, T. Smith, Armstrong, Kearse, Lewis, Fowler, Igbinoghene, Gallimore, Hankins, Goodwin, Sieg, Edoga, Dowdle, McKeon, Biadasz
Only resigns and would not break the bank for T. Smith, Lewis, Armstrong, Hankins, Sieg. Maybe Dowdle. Biadasz will want too much money for average performance at best.

If we want to go all out, there are plenty of options.
Draft
In our first round slot...lots of corners, some OL
Second round slot - lot of OL, couple DL and a couple WR
And you know Jerry will try to make a deal for someone injured, like Jordan Travis.
Same ole bs thinking he's keeping DC relevant....yawn, smoke and mirrors, seen this nightmare. Clown show.[Jones translator] "The extension will get done but y'all keep talking about it and stirring up public opinion. <wink wink> GO COWBOYS!"
Not me. I agree with you MC, at Jerry's age he's not thinking anything as time consuming as a rebuild, and he said this would not be a rebuilding year. That means Dak stays. Repeat the same team means repeat the same results, at best.Wait, people thought Dak was going somewhere lol?
I translate "all in" to mean more money.......continue to over pay for under performance. Hope I'm wrong. All in lol I will believe it when I see it and even if Jerry does that desperation move I still don't buy into this team until we win multiple playoff games. You can run your mouth all you want Jerry we are don't believing your lies.
Same could be said for youPost less, seriously
Basically. It’s not ideal but I mean what we want to happen vs what will happen are two different things. When Jerry said we were close that’s all I needed to know. I mean I knew he felt that way but that confirms we are bringing everyone back. Not me. Assuming Dak at the helm, the only other way to improve is to strengthen the OL and DL, we badly need immediate help in the trenches.
59 mil?He should be! He’s about to pay this dude 59 million to fold in big games!
I would want my moneys worth
Close??? We're not close.Basically. It’s not ideal but I mean what we want to happen vs what will happen are two different things. When Jerry said we were close that’s all I needed to know. I mean I knew he felt that way but that confirms we are bringing everyone back.
