Doubtful.

He didn't do anything wrong. And he didn't say anything wrong.

Really . . . if you think this video is a big deal . . . then you need to get a life.
Well said, sir.

I was unaware that this forum was filled with Mrs. Cleaver Bots. Holy cow he didn't even say anything offensive - the closest thing to offensive was an OBVIOUS joke about how "Bill ain't worth (), I love him".

I could be wrong, but I think being an "idiot" has worked out fairly well for Jerry Jones and his business ventures, so far.

Hansnt worked for crap in 15 years. I want more.

By getting Vinny and drew is that how it was done?.

By not throwing undrafted free agent from a Div II school out there before was ready "just to see what he could do", like idiot fans wanted him to do. These same idiot fans believed Romo just didn't have what it takes and we need to draft a "real franchise QB" in Round 1. These same idiot fans now have wrote a revisionist history where Parcells doesn't get any credit for Romo and it was just a foregone conclusion that Romo was destined to be great, and Parcells held him back. That's what makes them idiots.

If Jerry was the one still making the decisions, Romo would have been cast off for his beloved Drew Henson because Old Man Garrett told him he looked like a young Aikman.

You're better at interpreting drunk people than me. I thought maybe he was talking about himself in the 3rd person.

By getting Vinny and drew is that how it was done? Romo sat behind Carter as well. I credit Romo for keeping up the hard work and making the most of the chances he got in pre season to get the oppertunity that would come his way.

Are you implying Tony Romo should have started over quincy carter in 2003?

cause if so, please lets hear the reasoning behind that.

That is about as far out as opinion as I have ever seen you make.

and just to point out facts, Vinny was brought in to be a backup and to teach the young guys how to be a pro, it didnt make sense having two young guys again as the 1 and 2 in 04.

and ironically vinny did just that for romo. And in the end it was bill who had to convince Jerry that Romo could do it. Jerry was running around pumping up bledsoe heading into 06. that is the reason Romo played two whole games that preseason, that was bill putting romo out there to show jerry.

anyway, this interview isnt about that, its about the lack of respect he has for another executive to admit he just used his name to get something he wanted, like Jerry is so much more important or something. That is extremely disrespectful.

I really hope jerry was just kidding around and giving them the response they wanted and having some fun.

Right, the "it's only a successful season if you win the Super Bowl" argument.

Begin eye roll sequence in 3.....2.....1.....

You're talking out of your rear . . .

Jerry might have had an affinity for Henson, but so did a lot of people. Meanwhile, Parcells had his man crush on his guy Testeverde . . . despite all the video evidence that he couldn't play anymore.

So had Carter not failed a drug test, and the team gotten rid of him . . . it could just as easily be assumed that Romo would've been given the boot for Vinny.

Jerry's completely full of ****, IMO.

Dallas got their playoff win and he got back all the ego that the team had lost leading up to, and through, three consecutive 5-11 seasons.

I don't buy for one second the only reason he brought Bill in was to secure the stadium.

And what the hell does he mean by "J's gotta have a yes man" in regards to Bill?

This guy is acting like complete fool in the video. Embarrassing to say the least.

What fans would want a response like that?

I don't think talking about your peers is a problem. I do however believe there's a time and place for everything. At a local bar with a bunch of college students is not the place. Jerry should know better. Should apologize and needs some type of disciplinary action. This type of behavior is just shameful.

I think Jerry would have to murder someone before the "no big deal; nothing to see here" shills would object. Maybe not even then. Gotta admire their persistence, though. There's no amount of **** that they can't turn into shinola.

disciplinary action? For what?

I dont think he even was serious about the bill stuff.

but if he was he just makes himself look bad. Disciplinary action is nuts to even suggest.

Jerry might have had an affinity for Henson, but so did a lot of people.

I'm going to need some names of all these supposed "people". The Texans willingly traded him to their hated in-state rivals because Jerry outbid everyone for him ... that pretty much tells you all you need to know about what the rest of the league thought of his ability to turn into a franchise QB.

Meanwhile, Parcells had his man crush on his guy Testeverde . . . despite all the video evidence that he couldn't play

You mean the Testeverde who was only here one year? The QB who was forced to play because the current starter snorted and smoked himself out of the league ... .the one that Jerry fell in love with and reached for the 2nd round, amid rumors that he smoked and snorted everything he could get ahold of in college, making Jerry the laughing stock of the draft?

Wow, you got me.
