If we didn't have such gaping holes at CB and will have such a gaping hole at WR shortly, I'd be more than down with taking Albert in the first...but at guard. I'm not sold on him being a tackle at the next level. He has to PROVE that he can play there at the NFL level. Our OL is a strength for the most part. It needs to be addressed often, but not at the expense of needs as big as ours at CB.

I hear ya tomson--but I like of odds of addressing both CB and WR (and even RB) regardless and I agree that is key. My preference when drafting is to logically combine BPA and need as well as possible. If he drops to 22, it would depend on who had been taken at our serious need slots. If the remaining WR and CB were better slotted at 28 or later, Albert would look pretty enticing. So it's a fluid deal.

hopefully that scenario wont happen...

I don't think it will.

I think Albert will be long gone.

As these journalists who do mocks have begun talking to their team sources, Albert has steadily climbed. Mosely said today that he has Albert going to Kansas City at No. 5.

Yes, yes it would...and I agree.
